Dungeons & Dragons: The Philosopher's Stone Mythos History

Inanna Cthulhu (pronounced koo-tool-hoo) was created in opposition to Iama Tath at the same time as Love, when the greater perspective became "Who am I?". Whereas Iama represents Pride and Self, Inanna represents the hatred of Being, the need for destruction and Nothingness.

Luckily for humanity, Inanna spends most of her existence in the unconscious state. When she stirs even to the dream state, pestilence, war, and disease (especially cancer) become more prevalent amongst humanity. Once brought to a fully conscious state, a massive evolutionary wave is released over the prime material plane, affecting every living entity. The DNA of all offspring created as each species gives birth is altered to such an extent, as to create new species. This is not a gradual change, as has been toted by modern science since Darwin's time, but a catastrophic change, with humans being born with animal parts, and vice versa. The last time this happened was during the second Age of Atlantis, ca. 10,000 B.C. It was at this time that modern humans were created by a neotonous (more child-like) change from the homo species of that time (known as Cro-Magnon to modern science, Titans to greek mythology). The unfortunate offspring who had been born with various animal parts came to be known as "Things". The new humans (homo sapiens sapiens) became split into 2 factions regarding these 'things'. The Sons of Belial, followers of Iama Tath (incarnated as Set), used the 'things' as slaves. The Sons of the Law of One (followers of Simon Christopher, incarnated as Adam) did their best to heal these 'things' and reintegrate them into society.
