of time spins relentlessly.
if time were square,
i'd sweep my life into the corners,
where the spinning hands of
the clock can't get at them.
i'd pile the sand of my hourglass
to make a beach where i might bask
in the sun and surf the seas of eternity.
if you'd like to join me there,
we could sail to meet the horizon.

he'll lend us a boat,
