History: Forge is a teenage genius and inventor from the 1970s. Although, as smart as he is, he can't seem to work out all the kinks in his inventions and as a result he often finds himself in a spot of bother.
One day, one of Forge's devices backfired and transported Forge to another dimension, one which he named 'Middleverse'.
Years later, Kurt Wagner (Nightcrawler) of the X-Men happened to stumble upon his device and get transported to the same dimension. Here, he met Forge and together, along with the the help of the X-Men, they were able to escape.
Upon his return to the normal world, Forge decided to go home even if he did happen to be twenty years late for his curfew.
