| Breaking Point
The light has finally faded From dim to dying dust Every ounce of strength To try to make is just I have a place with in me Where you reside forever Though the bounds have loosened I refuse to let them sever Seeing you smile every day Has always been my goal But I have failed, and know that Eats away my soul |
| The Hour of Midnight
I lay in grassy fields with you By a stream of sunlight water Rise and fall the birds of Autumn Remember, the first time I told her Clouds of cream sprinkle evening sky Shadows upon earth, great Her blue eyes like sky stone She puts me in an altered state Later, midnight, moon smiles above The grass a sea from gentle breeze I look into crystal eyes Whisper, I love you |
| The Havens Rain for Us
I lay on sandy beach You within my arms Orion smiles back at us Lonely in the stars Waves perpetually sing On moonlight coated shores I gaze into sea stone eyes My lips meeting yours Longest kiss for time to see A world melting in cascade Our lips puncture infinity For us, only us and waves The sea a highlight moon Heaven raining stars For us, in forever light You within my arms |
| In My Mind
Death seems brighter Than light of life so dull It does not look so dark But really rather full It would be an escape To end it all right now And to see the light forever If I only could know how To take a life Mine for which I hate Would be a sin to conclude Can only be my fate I will go now To a place of everlasting dream Giving into light A place I want to be |
| Dream
What can I see? Everything and nothing World a rotating canvas In dreams I see A universe expanding collapsing Grass is blue and sky is green Twighlight goes on forever Lost am I in revere I find everything and nothing Held loosely in the palm of my hand The world is beauty again Dream upon dream All things are equal Yet rhapsody runs wild And truths are reveled What dreams may come |
| Take Me to the Lake
On the lake I lay Seeing stars so high Much wondering in my mind The more I want to die They say it is most normal To think such thoughts as these I want it to be over Oh please. Oh please. Oh please. I want it to be over The thoughts of jubilee And take it to asunder The life I do not need I will not see the light For life I truly lead Must take me forward, into future For humanitys struggling seed |
| The Equation
Death and life Two part equation I am already living Part one is done Shall I finish it? This equation of existence To kill that has to die Will I find the multiple? I lay in light covered darkness Pain is all I feel Make the numbers stop End numerical insanity I wish to see darkness covered light The numbers free as rain Sunlight I shall see one day The equation I must complete |
| We Live & We Die In Starlight
We are born from that nebula pie Yet there are countless ways to die We were given a gift And opened a rift to that great imortal sky We take leave of our blueberry Earth And return to the place of our birth Up in the sky In that great nebula pie Is where we find our mirth We go back with all our might To a place fufilled by light We go home to the spot of creation Were all life is given variation We live and we die in starlight |
| Will They Know Us?
Where will we be in twenty years If all life can give us is our fears Yet we go on trying to make it Not know weather to stand or sit Will they know us in that long time When our hair grows white and fine Will they know what we've done Our lives a story for everyone Will they know? Will they know? They will not know the wonders we've seen The sun and its effervescent gleam How can they understand a generation lost Amongst the sunless winter day frost We live life not knowing where to go We teeter to and fro On a high beem or a ledge Will it be better to go over the edge? Will they know? Will they know? No one will know us, unless we make it known That under these withering & weathered bones A person once stood a top Everest Or took the challenge and became the best Every life a story to tell Every experience to make the world well To know what we've done Our lives a story for everyone They will know us They will know us |
| I Surrender
I surrender to the tide of life The current is way to strong My Safetly line cut by a knife I really must of done something wrong You see me drift into the ocean Waves creating valleys in a violent motion Boom! LIghting strikes My body flung to enormous hights Finally i drift, to the bottem of the sea Life slipping going away I see not with my eyes I am finally free No more will i have to pay Die finally die I Surrender |
| The Omniscients
We are that which lies in shadow Never heard, never seen We are what goes bump in the night We are the Angels who ride the light If you should see us look away Our eyes shine red, even in day So dont look twice, should you care Look away, as though we arnt there |
| *:*~ "For every word a world of dream is born..." ~*:* |
| I like to write poetry. It is a way of escape. I dont know how to explain it, it might be the elegance of the words, or any hidden meaning, but it just takes you away. Floating on a cloud you dance and sing to the words, no matter how morbid they may be. |
