It was one year ago on this day
The first time that I wrote to you
When I bowed my head to pray
God told me what I need to do
With no idea I had been blessed
I just turned to reach for a pen
I had been touched by the best
As God then took away my sins
It dosen`t seem it has been a year
Though still it seems so long ago
Since then to you all I feel so near
As from my pen the ink still flows
I`ve made friends around the earth
With whom I share thoughts today
I can now feel so much more worth
As the Lord guides the words I say
I can still feel the peace in my soul
Like which I had never felt before
All my thoughts a world now knows
In a precious miracle from the Lord
I hope you all help me to celebrate
An anniversary that changed my life
That day God opened up this gate
Gave me peace to replace my strife
That great day I shall not ever forget
When the sunshine replaced my tears
Within a miracle that I did not expect
So much can happen in just one year
