It's Just A Season
God gives us a season for everything, We never know what life will bring. There's a season to laugh, one to cry, We must know of wet to know of dry.
We must have heat to know of cold, We must be young, before we're old. We must feel grass beneath our feet, Before the leaves fall from the trees.
We must have dark, to know of light. If we can't see, we don't know sight. A season for pain, one for health. One for poverty, one for wealth.
We must know evil, to know of good, We all crawled, before we stood. You must see truth, to know a lie, We all must live, before we die.
If we see death, we know of life, We hope for peace, instead of strife. You must feel love, to know of hate. Though each can be a lasting fate.
We must know anger, so we'll forgive, We must know a thief, to learn to give. We must keep everything in sight, To know what's wrong and what's right.
If to you, there is no rhyme or reason, Please remember-it's just a season.
