Your tiny little face I seen,
The night the Lord brought you to me.
I'll never forget that glorious night,
You filled my heart with such delight.
When they said, "You have a boy",
Oh, how my life was filled with joy.
I couldn't sleep the whole night through,
My heart and mind was full of you.
That was so many years ago,
But Son, I hope you'll always know,
I never thought I could love you more,
Than the night that you were born.
But as these years went swiftly by,
My love for you would fill the sky.
Through the years you've brought such joy,
You'll always be my baby boy.
