When we first met I was so low,
I didn't think I could go on.
In my heart was just dispair,
I thought no one would ever care.
A broken heart when we first met,
My life had sunk to emptiness.
Across the room, there we faced.
My eyes lit up, my heart then raced.
We danced that night til light of day,
And from your arms I have not strayed.
We grew so close as time went by.
You let me talk, you let me cry.
I know I would have lost my mind,
If not for you to spend my life.
We've been together all these years.
You took my heart, you dried my tears.
I know He sent you from above,
So I would have someone to love.
