Bills Place
In South West Missouri you will find, The fishing is best to throw out a line. Family and friends for miles it brings, To a little place called Indian Springs. On the banks of the Osage River it sits, With the best hospitality you'll ever get. To Bills place we all go, you see, This place means the world to me. There's picnic tables all over his yard, For a place to sit and tell our yarns. Right next to his home is a little cafe, But there is no charge you'll have to pay. When fishing season comes around, On his fishing boat he'll be found. He's had many fish fries there every year, And family reunions he holds there. A covered dish everyone will take, Fruit salads, pies and lots of cakes. Fried chicken, ribs and casseroles, And all the fish you can hold! But the best part of it, to me, is still We all go there to visit my brother, Bill. So I ask the Lord to bless our family today And for a special blessing for Bills Place.
