| My Easter Bunny Brother, to me you've meant the world, Ever since I was but a little girl You have been the strongest of all, That's why so often on you we call, You were always the one to soften bad news, And we always depended on you. I remember the day our mother died, You stayed there by our sides, Then one time when I was small, Mom left you in charge of us all, You knew a storm was on it's way, And in the cellar you had us stay, Even that day we were not scared Because we knew that you cared. I remember I was so forelorn, When I awoke one Easter morn. I thought I was the first out of bed, As I found eggs of blue, green, and red. I really thought I was so smart, I had enough eggs to fill a big cart. Around the corner I went with a dash, To find more eggs in the grass, I looked up and who did I see? It was an Easter Bunny looking at me! He made me put the eggs back down, So by the others they could be found. God sent me a rainbow so very dear, I feel so very blessed to have you near, That beautiful memory is with me still, For my Easter Bunny was my brother, Bill.
