If in these waters today you tread
I ask you just keep an open mind
Because these words I have said
I wrote so maybe peace I can find
Some happy though many are sad
Stories about family and my friends
May tell of the life which I have had
In hopes a message they might send
I will confess my many sins to you
In hopes that you won`t go astray
Then give you strength in all you do
In hopes to give you brighter days
Some just thoughts about this world
With all my hopes, prayers and love
Tell our generation of boys and girls
Of Gods many blessings from above
I hope my words may bring us close
With things we say and do in our life
Then bring us from our deepest lows
Then keep us all from so much strife
Then I ask you please to understand
Why all of these words to you I said
For when I must go to Gods great land
I will leave my waters for you to tread
