If today your contemplating an affair,
Your not understood, or don`t care.
I know that you will feel remorse,
It might even cause a nasty divorce.
I say this to you for your own good,
It won`t be as you think it should.
Adultery is a sin we can never forget,
Down the road will be only regrets.
With our sins we can never rejoice,
But you alone must make the choice.
If once you travel down this road,
Prepare yourself for a mighty load.
If you get caught up within this snare,
Many burdens then you must bear.
We forget about the hearts we break,
The sorrow and pain we might make.
If we go against what we all believe,
Then only ourselves do we deceive.
The years ahead that you must live,
Even yourself you will never forgive.
When you go to far then it`s to late,
And you alone must deal with fate.
I speak of me and some I`ve known,
The sinful seeds that we have sown.
Before you walk through Satans door,
" Do not commit adultery " said our Lord.
I beg you please to take another look,
Through the pages of Gods Holy Book.
