श्रीरामचन्द्र कृपालु भजु मन

हरण भव भय दारूणं ।।

नवकंज- लोचन, कंज मुख,

कर-कंज पद कंजारूणं ।।

Shri Ram Chandra Kripalu bhaju mana

haran bhava bhaya daarunam  | |

Navakanj- lochan, kanj mukh,

kar-kanj pada kanjaarunam  | |

Meaning:

O my heart! Sing praises of Sri Ram, Who absolves the greatest fears due to the cycle of life and death, and Whose eyes, mouth, hands, and feet are like a newly blooming red lotus

कंदर्प अगणित अमित छवि

नवनील नीरज सुन्दरं ।।

पट पीत मानहु तडित रूचि

शुचि नौमि जनक सुतावरं ।।

Kandarp aganita amita chhavi

navaneel neeraj sundaram  | |

Pat peeta maanahu tadita ruchi

shuchi noumi janak sutaavaram  | |

Meaning:

I bow to Sri Ram, Whose beauty cannot be compared to that of the cupid Kamdev, Whose pleasing appearance is beyond any measure, Whose body is like a newly formed dense blue cloud, Whose yellow robes are shining like lightning (on His cloud-like body), Whose beauty is gleaming, and Who is the consort of the daughter of Janak (Sita)

भजु दीनबन्धु दिनेश दानव-

दैत्यवंश- निकन्दनं ।।

रघुनन्द आनन्दकन्द

कौशलचन्द्र दशरथ-नन्दनं ।।

Bhaju deenabandhu dinesh daanav-

daityavansh- nikandanam  | |

Raghunand aanandakand

koushalachandra dasharath-nandanam  | |

Meaning:

Sing praises of Sri Ram, Who is friend of the poor, Who is Lord of the Sun, Who expurgated the lineage of demons from Danu and Diti, Who is the dear one of Raghu, Who is like a cloud of happiness, Who is like a moon for Kausalya, and Who is dear one of Dashrath

सिर मुकुट कुण्डल तिलक

चारू उदार अंग विभूषणं ।।

आजानुभुज शर- चाप- घर

संग्राम- जित- खरदूषणं ।।

Sir mukut kundal tilak

chaaru udaara ang vibhushanam  | |

Aajaanubhuj shar- chaap- ghar

sangraam- jit- kharadushanam  | |

Meaning:

Sing praises of Sri Ram, Who has a beautiful crown on His head, Who is adorned with ear-rings, Who has a beautiful colored mark (tilak) on His forehead, Who has expanded and beautiful organs decorated by ornaments, Who has long hands reaching His knees, Who holds a bow and an arrow, and, Who defeated Khar and Dushan in a fierce battle

इति वदति तुलसीदास शंकर-

शेष- मुनि- मन रंजनं ।।

मम हदय- कंज निवास कुरू

कामादि खल- दल गंजनं ।।

Iti vadati tulaseedaas shankar-

shesh- muni- mana ranjanam  | |

Mama hridai- kanj nivaas kuru

kaamaadi khal- dal ganjanam  | |

Meaning:

Tulsidas says this; Ram, the enticer of Shiv, Shesh (Sheshnag), and saints, reside in my lotus-like-heart and destroy the evils generated by desire
