From I-35 South:

(a) Take I-35 South

(b) Take Hwy 183 South (Exit 240/239)
(go about 9 miles on this highway)

(c) Take Hwy 71 East
(go about 25 miles on this highway)

(d) Take TX 21 East
(go about 0.5 mile on this stretch)

(e) Turn left onto TX 21E/Loop 150
(go about 1 or 2 miles on this road)

(f) Turn right towards park entrance (Bastrop Golf Club), then turn left onto the park road 1A

(g) Pay entrance fee, ask for park map and follow signs for Group Barracks
