Description:

    The JSEARCH is a Java Applet which can be used 
    to make a query to several search engines without 
    going to their homepages. 
    
    Simply type the search phrase & choose the search 
    engine & press go. The search results will open in 
    another window. 
    
    There are in all 14 search engines which can be queried.
    These include 
    
        Google (default) 
        Yahoo 
        Web Crawler 
        E-Bay 
        Lycos 
        CNet Download 
        Go.com
        Ask Jeeves 
        Excite 
        Look Smart 
        Search Power 
        Hotbot 
        C-Net 
        Dogpile 

    This list can be modified using the source code.
    
    It is a Java Applet, so that it can be put into your webpages 
    to make them alive.


    
Installation:
=============

    To install simply unzip the zip file into a folder, & click on search.html



Requirements:

    486 or higher 
    16MB RAM
    3MB hard disk space 
    OS : any
    Java Enabled Browser (if you don't have it, you may download 
                               the java plugin for your browser)
