Darunavir (DRV), is an antiretroviral medication used to treat and prevent patients with HIV/AIDS. For better results or outcomes it should be recommended for use with the other antiretrovirals. During the launch of this FDC, Rakesh Bamzai, the President of India and Emerging Markets, Mylan, stated, "The launch of DURART R 450 (Darunavir Ritonavir tablets) is another step forward in Mylan’s endeavour for providing the much needed HIV treatment solutions to those in need. Patients with HIV-1 infection will now have access to the FDC (fixed-dose combination) therapy which may enhance the overall patient treatment outcomes.”

Darunavir as well as ritonavir are HIV protease inhibitors and recommended to be used in combination for those patients who have failed with their first and second-line regimens during the controlling of HIV-1 infection.

Darunavir Ritonavir Dosage:

Durart-R 450 Tablet (Darunavir Ritonavir) has the potential in order to resist the growth of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in the body.
