This is the game that takes most board gamers beyond the confines of Risk, Stratego, and Chess. The expansions that have been published are an excellent addition to the game. Some can even be found on-line.
Hasbro has managed to put the game on CD-ROM. Although it is not what every A&A player hoped for, it was a fantastic start. They have also come out with an expansion which makes the game almost totally customizable. What more can we ask?
Anyone got the new Axis & Allies: Pacific or the semi-new Axis & Allies: Europe? A buddy of mine got both of them but is being incredibly slow (are you reading this Dustan?) about getting a review of it to me for you guys. Perhaps a bit of Russian-style persuasion would encourage him to perform his duty.
