Major Projects

Major Project 1 for 2001

(All Members are encouraged to participate in this Major Project as the success of the whole Gaia Project is dependent on Numbers of Members)

Participating Project Members are asked to tell at least 5 people about the Project and direct them to the website for further information.

Note; it is not necessary for Members to have access to the internet. Existing Members who do have access may forward any information on this web site to whomever is interested.  If individuals are interested in becoming a Listed Member they may ask their online friend to forward details on their behalf.

Our philosophy is that a whole lot of just one persons, all doing their little bit can collectively start to make a difference.  The difference may be small at first, but as more people join the Gaia Project, the difference will grow. This is why numbers are so important - the more participants, the greater the effect of each project.

Members who successfully introduce 5 or more new members will be listed on the Feedback page in recognition of their efforts.

We need suggestions for a second Major Project That can be run in 2001.  This can be a once off event, or a continuous activity that culminates in some event to be held toward the end of the year.  All suggestions can be posted to the Mailing List.

Suggestions will be examined, and may be discussed in the Mailing List.  When a suitable Project has been selected all members will be notified by email. It will also be posted on this page so that it is easily accessed by Members and non members.

Completed Major Projects will be placed on the Past Major Projects page along with results, Members comments, and any suggestions that have come up.
