“VICTORY” 21 Apr 00
This isn’t war. This is genocide.
We can’t win if there’s no enemy left.
No victory when everyone is dead.
We cannot defeat what does not exist.
ideology elimination policy.
If they will not surrender they will be destroyed.
What a victory. It was as if they never existed.
No traces. No footprints. No bodies. No buildings. No flags.
Just rubble and dirt.
We purified them.
We educated them.
The price of an education.
Is Kill or cure.
What kind of Victory? There’s nothing to conquer.
We cannot defeat what does not exist.
We must win. I cannot allow them to kill me.
My killing is not yet done.
When I get home.
There’s one more kill to make.
This war is going to end.
I’m only alive to kill her.
She figured I wouldn’t come back anyway.
So she told me about him.
They aren’t going to kill me out here.
I won’t die yet.
When I get back there’s one more bullet kept in reserve.
Two actually - him and her.
And then my killing is done.
They won’t kill me out here.
No. They’ll kill me after I get home.
Out here I’m a hero doing my job.
Back there, I’m a psychopath.
