“UNTIL DEATH US DO PART”
You always sat there
watching television
and a big smile upon my return
One day I came home early
tears into the telephone
secrets kept hidden
all sort of fell out
You never sit there
you’re at someone else’s home
You’re waiting now
are you ready to be heartbroken?
One day he came home from work
tears into his shoulder
cancer was making a feast of you
soon you would be a part from him.
