When I hold you in these arms
the arms of a killer
a man who signed the order
to dissolve happy families
and when I come to be judged
in the court of the Heavens
I can only kneel for the
forgiveness of my brethen
for unhappy unions
I prevented and dissolved
for unborn children, the issues
that science resolved
for saving the unwanted
from a lifetime of rejection
for I am only a bureacrat
not a magician
and I still miss. My love.
