Democracy does not lie
Democracy does not cheat. Or deceive.
Democracy does not exploit.
Or debase, or degrade
the greatest of human dreams

Capitalism does that.
Capitalism sells everything.
It sold virtue out.
Oil barons, ten gallon hats
decided the fate of the world

On the turn of the profit ratio dice.
Nations fall on the basis of supply
capitalism demands
that we keep comfortably dumb.
The human race is run.
