“SURRENDER” March 96

Each pale sunrise fails to Inspire. Cremate the remains of a genius in the oven of life. Einstein - Cobain - Elvis are dust. Heroes betray every ideal we trust. No dignity. Any fool can remain alive. Forget integrity. What we do to survive. To experience the next sunrise. To try and claw commons sense. Out of the market place. Rebellion is conformity. Packaged and sold. Your life’s work. On a gatefold CD sleeve. useless symbols. Each word is a lie. To see the fire fade from your eyes. Battered broken. Bent out of the shape. Hoping for the next great escape. Surrender to what you cannot change. We fight against the world in its current shape. Everyone can be bought. Everything can be sold. And Everything Must Go. I cling to the notion of dignity. This irredeemable world. You are a liar. You will reap the lies that you sow.
