“RAIN”

In April
Butterflies and stupid faces.

It’s easier in the darkness
you can’t see my face
especially as I poke my tongue out
just before we kiss

Talking in bed
so naturally and yet
falling asleep before
a sentence is done

Love is all these things
more and less
talking in cliches
nor waiting for second best

Two hands hold each others
love could be the word
used to describe interdependence
Parasites?

Not what anyone who has loved would say.
