You came out swinging
Like a bad father

Trying to score points with God
Without knowing she’s not listening
There’s a war on somewhere

Call yourself gorgeous
But beauty lives inside
You’re just a gaping hole to us

Try to save or change your world
But I know you would destroy it
To make more profit

Lying to yourself and everyone around you
An addict can never quit
You always come back to the same thing in the end

A cornered animal you are
Trying to start a war without a reason
Only bloodlust and emotion

When threatened
That’s your true nature showing
