A time for looking back
a time for tears
no regrets
the promise of a new year
a chance to make
improve what follows
a chance to take
a better tomorrow
now I’ve changed
no longer the last minute
to review all the waves
and rejoice in it

The love that was
is no longer
but a new love waits
ever stronger.
