Returning to university one day
how immature they all were
how little they desire to change
anything in the world except to be less sober

so many wankers in suits and ties
the Rugby Club for sure
you’ve got 44 years of employment
for that kind of life

Meanwhile the crumbling library
the amassed great work of amassed great minds
this is just a campus
I can leave any time I like

to indulge myself in thinking and books
and not who won the fucking football last night.
