“A GOLDEN AGE” 04 April 02
in the Phoenix Ward
I am reborn
My flesh slowly fails
dentures and reheated food
my memories are
the actions of me in my prime
my wedding day -
the women I laid -
the smiles my actions gave -
all coming to a close
soon memories will be
all I am, history.
As my flesh slowly fails
turned away on my side
I fade to sepia
and become a relic of A Golden Age
