Practice on April 13th, 2002 -  16 Paddlers

·        Five Minute warm up

·        Series of four to five minute paddling sessions. The distance covered in each session was 500 to 700 meters.

  1. Learn the catch position and reaching forward. 
  2. Learn to the paddle in a vertical position over the side of the boat.
  3. Learn to sit up during the stroke 
  4. Learn to drive the paddle down through the stroke. 
  5. Recovery.  

·        Power Stroke drills. 

·        We experiment with doing shorter strokes with the body
