This is what "Vidda" said in a forum on gaiaonline.com. I agree with him.
Personally I am starting to be tired of the whole "Hating Bush" crap. Okay, okay, don't judge me so fast: I don't like him that much (And who cares if I hate him anyway, it's about opinions), but what I am tired of is people who hate him and don't quite know why. The only argument they have is that "He made war in Iraq." How do I know they don't really have a reason? Because it's so obvious! I see people go and post stuff like "Yeah Bush is dumb 'cause he made war in Irak' ahem... 'Iraq!' They make spelling mistakes, and they just go and repeat what EVERYONE says, and call him "dumb". Dumb! What the heck?
Personally I can say that I am not totally aware of the situation. Okay? I'm Canadian. I'm not claiming I can have the perfect judgement, affirmate the perfect opinion about him. But I'm just tired of seeing people calling him dumb because of the decisions he made. Don't take me wrong, I'm not entirely for war myself, but people talk about it as if there was no reason to declare war, as if it was a totally dumb thing to do.
First of all, war kills people, I agree. K? I'm not insensitive. But there are not only bad sides to the war. Okay, the president made a really dumb lie to excuse the war, supposedly that they could have possessed WMD and could have gave them to Al Quaeda. Ok-- Now, I already said it, I'm not fully aware of the situation. But he brang democracy to it. Think about it, Iraqis were suffering from Saddam's iron fist reign over his country for years. Now a lot of Iraqis soldiers, and I assume, innocentIraqis have died. I KNOW THAT. But they're free now. War isn't an absolute, obvious wrong. Bush isn't dumb, he didn't decide to declare war for no reason because he's crazy or something. That's not true.
In other words: Bush isn't dumb, he just doesn't agree with your opinions about war. Adding to this, he was finishing George Bush senior's job with Iraq. Under a lie, but hell, what does he care? He's not dumb, he's hypocrite.
Now now I DIDN'T SAY I AGREED TO THE WAR.
Second thing: He's a republican. He doesn't agree to abortion, to gay marriages and to all that liberal stuff. Once again, that's a question of opinion. He isn't dumb. We might call him close-minded, we might say that he's a conservative man, we might say that he's scared of changes or that he's a very religious man, but he is NOWHERE NEAR DUMB. Once again, he just doesn't agree with your opinions. He did what he though was the best for his country.
Third thing: He isn't helping to solve pollution problems. I give it to you.
Now I don't believe he's dumb. I believe that I don't totally agree with his ways. If you're gonna claim that he's dumb, or that he has no brain, then prove it to me.
