Rear Bumper
The metal's bought, and the welder's hot! Seriously though, I am still in the design phase for this bad boy, but I'll post pictures once I finish it.
The rear bumper will be constructed out of 3/16" wall 3"x3" square tube. Should be plenty strong enough in my opinion... 1/4" wall tube would just be too much weight to have whipping the back of my 4-Runner around. I estimate that the whole thing is going to weigh in around 100lbs as it is.
The bumper will have a 2" hitch receiver in it as well as some bright backup lights (similar to the stop lights in the Stout Equipment bumper).
I will also incorporate wrap-around sides made out of 1/8" wall 2"x3" tube to protect my quarter-panels. Everything will be tied into the frame.
