| Brittany: (stunned) I can't believe he called me a bitch. You know what Raul? I don't take crap from anyone, especially you. (She leaves Crimson's Light.) Mac walks into the living room and picks up the phone to call Billy, but then Jill walks in. Jill: Well well if it isn't the little devil herself. Finally showing her face here. Mac: (turns around quickly) Jill. Look I wasn't hiding from you if that's what you think. I just had better things to do then to stay around here to hear you bitch and complain and make more threats. Jill: Excuse me but you do not have the right to speak to me that way. Mac: You know what you don't have the right to speak to me the way you do either, but that doesn't stop you does it? Jill: Oooohhhhhh you little wretched- (Katherine comes in) Kat: What do you think you are doing Jill? Jill: Oh great now there's two of you to annoy me. Kat: Why can't you leave the poor girl alone for once? She never bothers you. In fact she tries to avoid you all together, but you never leave her alone. Your problem is with me Jill so just leave my granddaughter out of this. Jill: Hahahaha, you have to be kidding me. (imitates Kay) she never bothers you. In fact she tries to avoid you all together. Ha. That is so far from the truth. That granddaughter of yours is always trying to cause trouble for me and you know what? She succeeded last night when she turned my own son against me. Kat: She did no such thing. You did that all on your own. Jill: The hell I did. Kat: You know what Jill? I feel so sorry for you. (she shakes her head) At the rate that you're going, in the end you will be all alone. And you'll have no one to blame, but yourself. You're lucky if you even have one friend in this town. Jill: Arghhhh you know what I don't need to take this from you, from both of you. (she storms out of the room) Kat: Darling are you okay? Mac: Yes grandma. I'm fine. I won't let Jill get to me. Anything that come out that woman's mouth is not even worth listening too. Kat: Good. Well I'm going to go to the kitchen to see if there's any edible in there. Since Esther had began all this health food stuff I haven't really eaten anything that actually tasted good. Mac: (she laughs) Oh grandma. It really isn't all that bad once you get used to it. Kat: Really? Mac: Well some of it anyways. Other times I would eat somethings at the coffee house. Kat: Ah ha. Well the next time you go there why don't you bring home some real food for me? Mac: (she laughs) Sure grandma. Kat: Thanks sweety. (she takes both of her hands and puts them on both sides of Mac's head and kisses her on the cheek. Then she leaves for the kitchen) Mac: (she smiles as she watch her grandma leave) Now finally I can call Billy. At the Abbott residence the phone rings. Billy picks up the phone. Billy: Hello? Mac: Hi. It's me. Billy: Hey, I was about to call you. Mac: Well I beat you to it. Billy: Yes you did. So what's up? Mac: Nothing. (she sounds troubled) Billy: Nothing? Mac: Nothing. Billy: Are you okay? Did something happen at your house? You sound weird. Mac: Billy, I'm fine. Really. Billy: I don't buy it. Come on Mac talk to me. Mac: Fine. It's just that your mom has been hassling me again and my grandmother. Billy: Man, why doesn't she ever stop. You would think after our conversation with her last night she would stop. You know what I'm so sick and tired of her behavior. (he gets angry) Mac: Billy, please. See this is why I didn't want to talk about this. Billy: Mac if my mom is giving you more trouble I want to know about it. I won't allow her to do that. I'm going to do something about this. Believe me. Mac: Look I know you only want to help me, but please just leave everything alone. I don't want you to get angry. Billy: I think I have the right to be angry. I mean she is hurting the woman that I love and I won't stand for it. Mac: Billy please let's just drop this okay? Billy: Mac... Mac: Please. Billy: Fine. Mac: Thank you. Look are you busy now? Billy: No, why? (a smile forms on his face.) Mac: (She smiles) Well I thought maybe you would like to meet me at the Crimson's Light. We could have some lunch and coffee and just talk. Billy: Sure I love to. This would be our first date in public. Mac: Hey you're right. It would be. Well then I will probably remember this day along with every other day that I have spent with you. Billy: Me too. Okay so I'll meet you in a half hour? Mac: Yeah sure. Billy: Great. I'll see ya later. Mac: Okay. (she was about to hang up) Billy: Ohh wait Mac? Mac: (puts the phone back to her ear) Yeah Billy? Billy: I love you. Mac: (she smiles) I love you too. (Then they both hang up) Oh Billy. I love you so much. (she is just sitting there on the chair thinking about Billy for a minute or two and then she gets up and leave) Back at the Abbotts residence... Billy: (after he hung up the phone, basically the same time Mac did and started to think about him) Oh Mac I love you so much it hurts. (he gets up to leave for his date) At Crimson's Light Mac walks in and looks around for Billy. She doesn't see him so she finds a table and sits down to wait for him. Cody walks by and sees Mac. Cody: Hey Mac, how's it going? Mac: Oh hey Cody. Everything's great. And you? Cody: Not too bad. Well are you waiting for Raul? Mac: Actually me and Raul broke up. Cody: Really? When did this happen? Mac: Recently. In fact just the other night. Cody: Oh well how are you doing? Mac: Oh I'm fine. It's Raul that I'm more worried about though. I don't think he's handling it very well. Cody: You broke up with him? Mac: Sort of. It's just really a long story that I rather not get into right now. Cody: Hey I can take a hint. No more questions about it. Can I get you anything? Mac: Yeah can I get some lemonade? Cody: One lemonade coming up. (He walks away as Billy walks through the door and looks around. He spots Mac at the bar and walks over to her. He leans down and kisses her shoulder. Mac turns around and smiles.) Mac: Hi. Billy: Hi. Mac: Well that was a nice hello. Billy: There's more where that came from. (He leans in to kiss her when Cody walks over with the lemonade.) Cody: Here you go Mac. Hi Billy. How's it going? Billy: Things are great. Cody: That's good. Looks like I interruptd something. Mac: No, no you didn't. Cody: (He's a little suspicious.) That's good. Can I get you anything, Billy? Billy: Umm how about a cup of coffee. Cody: Sure. (He walks away) Billy: Okay so where were we? Oh yeah we were right about here. (He leans in to kiss her again, but someone interrupts them again.) Mystery person: Well, well, well. Look who we have here. Mystery person: If it isn't my girlfriend and my best friend together kissing. Mac: Raul. Look we're really sorry about everything. Billy: Yeah. I mean I know we can work this out. If you would give it a try. Raul: You know what? I don't think you're in the position to ask for things from me right know. Billy: I know Raul. I messed up big time, but if you would just let me explain- Raul: Explain?!! (he gets angry) Explain what? Explain how you went behind my back and stole my girlfriend right under my nose? That you lied to me and betrayed me? Go ahead and explain things for me. (Billy looks down at the ground and is very sad and quiet. Mac stares at Raul in disbelief.) Mac: Raul, come on don't be like this. We never meant to hurt you. It just happened. Raul: You know what? Just save it okay. I'm sick and tired of hearing that. (He imitates them) Oh I can explain. It just happened. We never meant to hurt you. (stops imitating them) Well you know what? You did hurt me, but all the explanation in the world won't fix everything. And also, things never just happen. This whole things must have been going on for a while and I just didn't know it because you didn't tell me the truth. (he walks out into the patio with Mac and Billy staring after him) Mac: That's just great. Things can't possibly get any worse can they? (just then Brittany and Jill walk in and Mac and Billy sees them) I spoke too soon. Jill: There you guys are. We've been looking for you. Billy: What for mom? (Author's Note: Okay to speed things along, after Raul saw Billy and Mac together, he told Brittany about them. Brittany confronted Billy about what Raul had said. He tells her the truth and she decides to seek revenge. Then she goes to Jill about all this and they come up with a plan to break Billy and Mac up. Jill tried contacting Mac's mother, but that whole thing just blew up in her face. She couldn't be reached) Jill: Well son, to talk of course about what has been going on. Billy: I have nothing to say to you mom. You burnt all your bridges with me the other night. Jill: Sweetheart, I know I know I may have said some terrible things that night, but- Billy: Some terrible things? You said a lot of terrible things, in fact they were beyond terrible. You know what you owe Mac an apology for what you have said to her and all the threats you made to her. Jill: Okay, I am sorry Mackenzie for the things that I said. Is that better? Billy: You know what I'm tired of talking to you. Come on Mac let's go. Jill: Wait Billy, please. Don't walk out on me. If you don't want to talk to me at least talk to Brittany. She has somethings that she wanted to talk to you about. You at least owe her that much. Billy: Fine. What is it that you wanted to talk to me about Brittany. Brittany: Well just that I'm real hurt by what you did. I love you, Billy, but you just threw that love right back in my face like I never meant anything to you. Did I ever mean anything to you? Did you ever really care about me or loved me or was it all just an act to cover your relationship with Mac? Answer me. Billy: I really am sorry about everything Brittany. I didn't want to hurt you. It was never something that I set out to do. Brittany: You're not answering me. Did you ever love me? (he looks down at the floor not wanting to see the hurt look in her eyes. He has seen that look one to many time from Mac, Raul and her.) Well I guess that answers my question. Look I won't bother you anymore. (She and Jill leave the coffee house. Billy looks at Mac and she looks back at him with sad eyes.) Mac: Are you okay? Billy: Yeah. As long as I have you I will be fine. Mac: We'll get through this. I promise. (she touches the side of his face with the back of her hand. Touching him ever so gentle.) Billy: (he puts his hand over hers) I know we will. Come on lets do that date thing we planned. (Leads her to a table.) Mac: (smiles) Sure. That sounds great. (They sit down at the table. And they stare at each other so intensely.) Billy: Have I told you lately how beautiful you are? Mac: Ummm let me think... (teasing him) Billy: You are so beautiful. Mac: And you are so great to me. Billy: You deserve only the best. That being true, what are you doing with a guy like me? (his face is serious) Mac: What kind of question is that? I do have the best. I have you Billy. Don't ever think you're not good enough because you are. I should be the one asking you that question. I mean all I have ever was bring trouble to you. You didn't have to put up with me and all my problems, but you did. And- Billy: Hey that's enough. No more putting yourself down Mac. I am with the most beautiful girl I've ever known. (Mac looks down at the table.) You are smart and caring and kind and loving. A guy couldn't ask for more than that. You know what you didn't bring any problems to me. Your problems are my problems. We deal with things together Mac. (he puts his hand under her chin and lifts her head up. He looks straight at her eyes and she does the same) I hope you know that. Mac: (she smiles slightly) Yeah I know that. Billy: (he smiles slightly at her too) Good. Now what do you feel like doing? Mac: I don't know. Whatever you want to do. Billy: All I want to do is kiss you. (he smiles) Mac: Well don't let me stop you. (she smiles) Billy: Is that an invitation? Mac: What do you think? (They both smile and Billy leans in to kiss her. He touches her lips with his lightly waking up every cell in their bodies and urging for more. Mac leans in more and presses her lips harder on to his lips. He slips his tongue into her mouth causing them both to want more. They continue to kiss like that until Mac pulls away from him, both breathing heavily, and Billy questionly looks at her flushed face and swollen lips.) Billy: What's wrong? Mac: Nothing. I just think that maybe we should do this somewhere else where there aren't people all around us. (she looks around her to point out the people around) Billy: (He looks around them too and realizes where they are.) You're right. I guess I forgot we are in a public place. Mac: Yeah me too. So do you still want to finish our date or leave? Billy: Ummmm (then Mac rubs her leg against his, going up and down, up and down. Billy feels like he's about to melt and then gets up quickly) Let's go. Mac: (she smiles as Billy takes her hand while she is getting up. He heads towards the door when Mac stops him.) Ahhhh Billy are you forgetting something? Billy: What? I have you with me so what could I possibly forget? Mac: Maybe the check for our drinks. Billy: (He looks back at their table and sees the drinks.) Oh yeah right. (Mac laughs a little.) Wait just one sec while I go pay for the drinks. Don't go anywhere. Mac: (she nodds) Okay, I'll be right here waiting for you. (he go up to the bar to pay and she laughs. After a couple minutes he returns) Billy: Okay ready? Mac: Ready. Billy: Let's go. (they start walking out the door when Billy stops. Mac turns around to look at him.) Mac: Don't tell me you forgot something again. Billy: No it's not that. It's just where are we going? Mac: I figure the playhouse. Or we could go to your house if you want. I would suggest my house, but I don't really feel like dealing with your mother right now. Billy: Why don't we head to my house instead of the playhouse. It's not like we have to hide anymore. Mac: You're right. Billy: Aren't I always? (he smiles at her) Mac: Do you really want me to answer that? (joking with him) Billy: okay okay, let's just end this right here before things get ugly. Mac: Fine with me. Billy: (laughs) let's go. (they leave and head to his house.) Back at the Chancellor Residence. Brittany: I can't believe he never cared about me. I opened myself up to him and he just threw me away like garbage. I swear he and Mac will pay for this. Nobody hurts me without getting hurt back. Jill: Listen I know that it's not Billy's fault for what has happened. It was Mac. She tricked Billy into being with her. She is the reason for your hurt and mine, not Billy. And believe me we will get her back for this. I promise you that. Brittany: We better because if we don't I'll be so upset. Jill: Don't worry we will. We will. Brittany: Where in the world is Raul. We called him about a half hour ago to come over here and he's still not here. What's taking him so long. We have to get started on a plan like right away. Jill: I don't know. Just calm down okay. Getting worked up like this certainly won't help. (the doorbell rings) See there you go. That must be Raul. (she walks over to the door and opens it.) Raul: Hey sorry it took me so long to get here. The bus was late. Jill: Oh just forget it okay and let's get started on this plan. Raul: Okay so what are we going to do? Jill: Well I was thinking that maybe you and Brittany should both try to lay on a guilt trip on Mac and Billy so that they would feel guilty and when they are at that point I'm sure they will do what ever you tell them to. Raul: I don't know about this Mrs. Abbott. Maybe we shouldn't do this. Jill: Don't you start to get cold feet here. We need you to do this in order for this plan to work. Look Raul, don't you want Mac back? I know you still have feelings for her. Don't throw this opportunity to win her back away. You can still have her. It's not too late. Brittany: Come on Raul. You have to do this. Please. For me. Do this for me Raul. Raul: All right. I will go along with your plan. Just for the record, I really don't like this at all. Jill: It doesn't matter. All right let's figure out what we are going to do first. Billy and Mac arrive at the Abbott residence. He opens the door and they go inside. Billy: Well home sweet home. So what do you want to do now? Mac: Hmmm, what were we doing before? Billy: Did you forget already? Mac: Yeah, why don't you go and remind me what we did. Billy: (He leans towards her moments away from kissing her.) Well we were doing something like this. (He kisses her and then pulls away from her to get her reaction.) Mac: Oh now I remember. Billy: Yeah? Mac: yep. Billy: Well then why don't we continue it upstairs in my room. Mac: Are you sure we should do it here in your own house with your dad, sister and your brother? Billy: As far as I know they won't be home until late tonight doing work at Jabot. So how about it? My room, you and me together. Kissing. Maybe a little bit more? Mac: Hmmm I like the sound of that. Billy: You do do you? (she nods her head) Well then let's go. He leads her up the stairs holding her hand. They reach his room and go inside. Then he turns around to face her. They look at each other with desire and longing to be with each other. He strokes her hair with his hand and leans in towards her to kiss her. She tilts her head up and closes the distance between them. At first the kiss was slow and gentle, but then it became more and more quicker and passionate. Billy slips his tongue inside her mouth. She welcomes it eagarly. It felt so good to both of them. They never wanted it to stop. Then Mac puts her hand on his chest and bringing it down to the bottom of the shirt. She pulls it up and he takes it off. He brings his head back down and kisses her again. Then he moves from her lips to her neck. She moans with pleasure while her hands roam wildly over his chest to his arms to his back and up to his neck where she buries her hands in his hair. That touch sent Billy so much pleasure. Finally he couldn't take it anymore and he scooped her up in his arms and carried her to his bed. H lays her down gently and lies down next to her. She brings her head up and starts to kiss his chest. He moans and buries his hands in her hair. Then he brings her head up to kiss her. His hands wander down and goes under her shirt to feel her skins. His hands run up and down on her back and her side. The touch made her body feel like she was on fire. Finally she could take it anymore and took off her shirt. She wanted to feel his body against hers skin to skin. Billy kisses her all over her body. From her lips to her neck to her shoulders to her breast and down her stomach. The fire between them was so intense and was like nothing they ever felt before. He brings his head back up and kisses her lips again. Her hands are on his back and she presses him closer to her body. She wanted to feel every inch of him and so did he. She could feel his arousal and wanted him to take off his pants. Mac: Billy... Please... I want you to...ahhh...take off your pants. (He takes off his pants as she takes hers off. They thrown their pants on the floor and Billy pulls Mac closer to her letting her feel his arousal.) Ohhhh Billy, now... I want you inside now. (He was just about to go in when he suddenly stops and pulls away. They breath heavily and Mac looks at him with a worried look.) Billy: Wait Mac, wait. Billy did not want to stop, but he had to. It was torture for him to do it but he had to. Billy: Mac, wait a minute. Mac: (worried look in her eyes) What is it? What's wrong? (she starts to panic. She thinks to herself) Oh no what if he changes his mind and he doesn't want to be with me now? Billy: (he sees's how worried she is and how panicked she is) Mac, relax okay. Nothing is wrong. It's just I should probably put on some protection. You know so we don't have to worry about the consequences afterwards. (he sees Mac relax) Mac: Oh that all. Billy: Yeah that's all. Why? What else were you thinking? Mac: Nothing. It was stupid really. Billy: (He looks at her a little bit more closely) You thought I was going to back out didn't you? Mac: See I told you it was stupid. Billy: Mac, I love you. There's no one more that I would want to do this with and besides this is not the first time we've done this. Mac: I know I know. And I love you too Billy. It was stupid of me to think such a thing. I know that now. Billy: Good. (he kisses her and then reaches over to his night table and opens the drawer where he has his condoms.) Mac: (she eyes his suspiciously) So that where you hide them. Aren't you afraid some one will find them there. Billy: (he smiles) What's it to you? Mac: (smiles) Nothing. It's just that everyone always put them there. And now I find out you do too. Billy: How do you know everyone puts them there. Did you forget to tell me about something? Were there other guys you've been with? Mac: No no it's not like that. (gets embarrassed) It's just in those stupid movies they always have condoms inside the night table. Billy: Movies huh? (he has a wide grin on his face) Mac: Stop it. Like you've never watched movies before. Billy: Awwww I think that's cute. Mac: Shut up. Billy: Okay okay. (he had just finished putting on the condom-Safety first people) So where were we? Mac: I think we were right about here. She leans in towards his face to kiss him and he closes the space between them. The passion flares up again and they start kissing each other like crazy. He positions himself and then enters her slowly as she gasps. The feeling was so great and the thought of her and Billy being one was incredible to Mac. He moved smoothly up and down trying to remember everything about her at that moment. Every sound that she makes, her expression on her face, and the feeling of being inside of her. I was like nothing he had ever felt before. At the end there bodies were full of sweat. He lied right on top of her still inside of her. She held him so tight, never wanting him to go. She didn't want the feeling to end. Making love to him was so amazing. She felt things that she never thought was possible to feel. As Billy starts to get back his energy, he gets off of her and lies next to her. He pulls her up closer next to him kisses the top of her head. Billy: Hmmmm, that was incredible. Mac: Yes it was. Ohhhh, I never want this feeling to end. Billy: Me neither. I promise you Mac it won't. (touches her arm that is on his chest. He moves his hand up and down feeling the softness of her skin.) I love you Mac. I love you more than words can say. Mac: (she lifts her head up to look at him eye to eye) I love you too. So much. (they look at each other for few more seconds then she puts her head back down on his chest. She can hear his heart beat. She love the sound of it. It was so strong. She fell asleep listening to it. Moments after Billy fell asleep also lying together and holding each other never wanting to let go of each other.) It's the next day. Mac is home now. Jill comes down stairs and finds Mac sitting on one of the chairs. Jill: Well well well. What do we have here? Mac: (she looks up and sees Jill and groans) What do you want now Jill? Jill: Nothing. Mac: Fine then. If you don't mind I would really like to be alone now. Jill: Why is that? Are you and Billy having problems? Mac: You wish. We are just fine Jill. Jill: Well you can't blame me for trying now can you? Mac: I guess not. Jill: Well if it's not Billy then what is it? Is it Raul? Did you guys talk? Mac: No it's not Raul. Why do you think me and Raul have talked? Jill: Oh no reason, no reason at all. Mac: (she gets suspicious) Okay Jill just spill it. I know you're hiding something from me. What did you do? Did you talk to Raul? Jill: Of course not. Why would think I talked to Raul? Mac: Well you asked me if I talked to Raul. Jill: I simply meant that well now that you and Billy are an item Raul might have talked to you or the other way around. Mac: No I haven't talked to Raul and he hasn't tried to reach me. (she looks away) Jill: What's wrong? Mac: Why do care what's going on with me anyways? Why are you drilling me with all these questions? Jill: Hey don't get an attitude with me. I just asked you one question out of concern. Clearly you don't want it. Mac: You're right. I don't want it. So why don't you just leave me alone okay? Jill: Fine. I'll leave. But before I do, here's a little advice for you. Don't get on my bad side otherwise you will live to regret it. (she walks out of the room) |
| Mac: (she yells after Jill) I thought I was already on your bad side! (she then looks off into space) Raul is in front of the door at the Chancellor's residence. He rings the doorbell. He starts to pace back and forth, getting real nervous and hoping that the plan will work. Esther goes to the door and opens it. Esther: Hello Raul, this is a surprise. Please come in in. Raul: Thanks Esther. Esther: So are you here to see Mac? Raul: Yeah I am. Is she around? (Meanwhile Mac who is still sitting in the chair hears Raul's voice and gets up to go see him.) Mac: Yeah I'm here. Hey Raul, what's up? (she looks a little uncomfortable and the same for him.) Raul: Ahhh, I was hoping we could talk. Mac: Yeah sure. I've been meaning to talk to you too about things that have been going on you know? Raul: Ummmm well that's kind of what I wanted to talk to you about too. Mac: Well why don't we go into the living room to talk. Raul: Sure. (He follows Mac into the living room.) Look Mac I...it's been real hard on me...this whole thing is such a mess. Mac: I know it is Raul. I know you probably don't want to hear this right now, but I'm sorry. I really am. I never meant to hurt you. Billy also. Especially Billy. I know that saying "I'm sorry" is not going to make everything all better, but it has to be a start right? (she looks at him with hope, praying that he will forgive them) Raul: You're right. Saying that won't make everything better. In fact nothing you or Billy will say will make things better. It won't make all the problems go away, but I also know how I feel Mac. I know how I still feel about you. (he looks at her and she is looking right back. He walks towards her and takes her hands and put them in his.) Mac, I still care about you. I still love you. I still want to be with you. Mac: Raul. (she looks away and pulls her hand from his grip. Then she walks away from him.) Please don't do this. Raul: (he walks over to where she was and puts his hand on shoulder. Then he turns her around to face him) Mac. Don't you still have any feelings for me? Don't you still care about me? Mac: Of course I do. I do have feelings for you, but they're just not the feelings that you want. I do care about you, but only as a friend Raul, nothing more. Raul: Well I guess I still have one question left for you. Did you ever loved me? Did you ever really cared about me when we were together? Mac: Yes Raul. I did. At one time I did care about you. Raul: But did you love me, Mac? Did you? Mac: (she looks at him with a sad expression and then looks down.) No I didn't. (she looks back up to him) Raul I really am sorry. Raul: (he looks at her pleadingly) Mac, couldn't you try, try to love me? Can't I be the one for you? (he starts to cry) Mac: (she starts to cry too.) Raul, I don't know what to say. What do you want me to say? How am I suppose to answer that? Raul: (He moves in closer to her and puts his hands around her waist. He starts to lean in closer) You can just kiss me. (he kisses her for a long time. Mac is in a state of shock. Not knowing what to do she just didn't move and let him kiss her. Then he pulls her body closer to his and kisses her deeper. Finally Mac starts to come to her senses and she pulls away from him. They look at each other.) Mac. We can be together. We can still have this. If you would just give me a chance. Please Mac. That's all I'm asking. A chance to really be with you. With no secrets. Mac: I really think maybe you should go. Raul: Mac... Mac: Please, Raul, just go. I need some time to think. (he was still standing there looking at her) Please. Raul: Okay Mac. I'll go, but don't you think I'm giving up on you. Not for one minute got it? (He looks at her once more and turns around and goes out the door.) Mac just stares at the hallway in shock. Mac: What am I going to do? Billy. (she nodds her head) Yes I have to go see Billy. (she walks out of the door and heads over to Billy's house.) Raul arrives at the coffee house and spots Brittany. He walks over to her. Raul: Brittany. Brittany: (she looks up at him) Hey Raul. How did it go? Raul: I'm not sure. Brittany: You're not sure? What do you mean by that? Raul: Well I told her that I still loved her and that I wanted to get back together with her. Brittany: And so what did she say? Raul: Well she didn't really say anything. Brittany: What do you mean she didn't say anything. Was that good or bad? Raul: I don't know. But then I just kissed her. Brittany: You kissed her? Well what happened after that? Raul: She told me to leave. She said that she needed to think. Brittany: She needs to think about it? Well things couldn't get any better. You do know what this means don't you? Raul: I don't that she needs to think about maybe. Brittany: Not just that. It means that you still have a chance with her and I still have a chance with Billy. We just need to play our cards right and maybe things will work for us. Come on lets go see Mrs. Abbott at her office to figure things out. Raul: All right let's go. (they leave the coffee house) Mac is at the Abbott's residence and she rings the doorbell. Bill is coming down the stairs to see who it was. He's sees Mac and smiles. He goes to open the door.) Billy: Hey Mac. Back so soon? (he has on the biggest smile and his eyes twinkle a little bit.) Mac: Ummmm well something happened earlier. Billy: (he sees how upset she is and the smile just disappeared and so did the twinkle in his eyes. Now it was just concern that filled his eyes.) Mac what's wrong? What happened? Was it my mom again? (he starts to get angry just thinking about her. Mac sees his expression change and quickly reassures him) Mac: No no no. It's not your mom. For once it isn't her. Billy: (the anger leaves his face) Then what is it? Mac: (she looks at him) It's Raul. Billy: What about him? Did he talk to you? Mac: Yeah he did. Just a little while ago. Billy: Did you guys talk about... Mac: Yeah we did. He told me that he still had feelings for me. Billy: He does? Mac: Yep. Billy: Well that's understandable, I means feelings don't just turn off when you want them to. We should know about that. Mac: Yeah I know. I mean we tried to deny our feelings and now look where it's gotten us to. Everything is a mess. If we were just honest to each other and everybody else maybe none of this would have happened. Maybe Raul wouldn't have taken this so hard. Billy: Maybe. But we can't do anything about it now. We can't change the past. Mac: I know. Billy: So what happened after he told you that he still has feelings for you? Mac: Well then he told me that he...that he... Billy: What Mac? Mac: That he wanted to get back together with me. Billy: He said that? Mac: Yes. Billy: Well what did you tell him? Mac: I said nothing. I didn't know what to say to that. Billy: What do you mean you didn't know what to say? You could have told him the truth. That you were with me. That you didn't feel the same way about him. That it would never happen. (he starts to get upset. He couldn't believe that she said nothing) I mean now he thinks that he still has a chance with you. Unless...Mac? Is that what you wanted him to think? Are you thinking about getting back together with him? Is that why you're here? Mac: (She looks at him like he's crazy) No Billy, that's not it at all. I love you. I want to be with you and nobody else, but if you have doubts about how I feel about you... If you don't trust my feelings for you then I don't think this will work out for us. Billy: Mac what am I suppose to think, huh? Your ex-boyfriend comes by your house and tells you that he still has feelings for you and tells you that he wants to get back together with you... And you don't say a word to him. What am I supposed to think? Mac: Maybe you could just have some faith in me and our relationship. Clearly you don't otherwise you would have never asked me that. I should go. (she walks out the door and Billy justs stares at the doorway) Billy: Great, just great Abbott. Great way of handling that situation. At the Jabot building. Brittany and Raul go up to the secretary's desk. Brittany: Hi, my name is Brittany Hodges. I was wondering if Jill Abbott is around? (she puts on one of her fakes smiles and batts her eyelashes around for that innocent little girl look) Secretary: I'm sorry. Mrs. Abbott isn't in her office today. She took a personal day off. Brittany: Oh well thanks anyways. Secretary: Sure no problem. (she goes back to doing whatever secretaries do. Brittany and Raul walk away from her desk) Raul: I wonder where Mrs. Abbott is? Brittany: I don't know. I can't believe she didn't tell me about this. Wait. I have her cell phone number. I'll just give her a call right now. (she takes out her cell phone and a piece of paper with a phone number on it. She dials the number and puts the phone to her ears. Jill picks up the phone.) Jill: Hello? Brittany: Hi, Mrs. Abbott. It's me Brittany. Jill: Brittany, hi. Brittany: I'm calling because I thought maybe we could get together along with Raul to maybe talk about things. Jill: Sure and speaking of Raul, did he talk to Mackenzie? Brittany: Yes he did, and that is part of the reason why I want to meet. Jill: Well you can meet me at my house because that's where I am and Mackenzie left, I think. Brittany: Okay. We'll be right over. Jill: I see you soon. (they hang up the phone and Brittany looks at Raul) Brittany: Come on. Let's head over to the Chancellor's place. That's where Jill is. Raul: Wait. The Chancellor's place? Mac is home and well she'll be suspicious if she sees me over there again and talking with Jill. I don't think I'll go. Brittany: Relax all right? Jill said that Mackenzie isn't home. Raul: She isn't. Brittany: Well she doesn't think so. Raul: All right. I'll go. Brittany: Good. Besides you don't have a choice in this matter. (she grabs his hand and drags him along like a little dog and they leave the building.) At the Chancellor's residence. Brittany, Jill, and Raul are talking. In the living room. Jill: So Raul, tell me what happened when you spoke to Mackenzie. Raul: Well I told her that I wanted to get back together with her and then I kissed her. Jill: Really? Well how did she react to that? Raul: Well she didn't protest or say anything. She just stood there in shock. Jill: Well did she give any signs of maybe changing her minds about things with Billy? Was there a moment when you thought she might have chose you? Raul: Well I don't know. What I do know is that she didn't say no. She never said no. That's gotta be a sign, right? Jill: Yes it is Raul, yes it is. (then they hear the front door open and they all look to see who it is) Esther walks into the living room carrying bags of groceries. Jill, Brittany, and especially Raul show signs of relief, glad that it wasn't Mackenzie that walked in. Esther: Well hello everybody. Is this a party that I didn't know about? Jill: You know what? Mind your own business Esther. Esther: Well excuse me for asking. (she stalks off to the kitchen) Raul: Do you always have to be so mean to everybody? Jill: Why should it matter to you anyways? Look we should get back to the topic and that is Mackenzie and what we are going to do. Brittany: Well I was thinking, maybe I should give Billy a little visit today. You know, try make him feel guilty about things. Maybe seduce him. Jill: Hey hey hey, little missy. We are talking about my son here and there will be none of that got it? I don't want you taking him to bed or anything. I just want you to get him to want you again. Okay? Are we clear? Brittany: Yes Mrs. Abbott. We are very clear. Jill: Good. Well then Raul you just keep up whatever you're doing and by no time Billy and Mackenzie won't want to be with each other again. Brittany: And it better be soon because I don't know how much I can take of this anymore. If I have to witness another moment between Mackenzie Browning and my boyfriend there will be hell to pay. And that's a promise. Jill: Now now, let's not go over board. Things will go well for us I know it. With Raul on our side we have an even better chance of succeeding. Mackenzie will never suspect that Raul, sweet o Raul would never do anything bad and the same with everyone else. Raul: Will you both just shut up! God, this is so bad. I don't even think I want to go through with this anymore. (he walks over to the table with all the drinks and glasses. Jill and Brittany look at him and then each other.) Brittany: What the hell do you mean you don't think you want to go through with this?!!!! After everything you are now thinking about bailing out. Well I don't think so. No chance in hell that's gonna happen. You're stuck now. Raul: (he turns around to looks at Brittany and raises his eyebrow) Excuse me, but nobody tells me what to do got it. If I don't want to do this I won't. I don't have to do anything you say and you can't make me. Jill: All right, all right, calm down both of you. Look if Raul doesn't want to do this he doesn't have to. Brittany: But Mrs. Abbott. Jill: Brittany, he doesn't have to do it (she eyes Brittany saying that she knows what she is doing. Brittany shuts up.) Raul I mean it. You can just walk out of here and I won't do a thing, but I will say this. You have a chance to get Mackenzie, a girl you claim to love, back. Raul: I do love her. Jill: Well if you love her then aren't you going to even try to get her back or are you just going to walk away? Just thought I give you something to think about before you make the wrong decision. (she walks away and takes Brittany along with her.) Raul: (he thinks for a moment and the goes after them) Wait, Mrs. Abbott. All right I do it. Jill and Brittany both smile at each other. Jill: Great. Mac has been walking around think about everything that had happened within the last 24 hours and she doesn't know what to do. She ends up at Crimson's Light. She walks inside and looks around. She doesn't see anyone there so she finds a seat at an empty table. Just then JT walks in from the patio. He spots Mac and walks over to her. JT: Ahhh hemmm, is this seat taken? Mac: Yes it is. JT: Well I'm gonna sit in it anyways. (he sits down) Mac: Why do you even bother asking then? JT: Because it's more polite. Mac: (she looks at him for a moment and then bursts out laughing. JT just stares at her. A little offended. She looks at JT again. She tries to stop laughing.) I'm sorry... I really am... It's just that... You being polite... That's not something I can picture in my head... I just can't relate the two together (JT just stares at her and is not impressed) I'm sorry, okay okay I stop now. (she slowly stops laughing) Whew okay so what do want now? JT: Well if your done, I thought maybe we can talk. Mac: Talk? About what? JT: About things. Mac: What things? JT: Just things. Mac: (she is getting annoyed with him) Stop playing with me and get to the point. I sick of playing games here. JT: All right, chill. Man you really need to lighten up once and awhile. That usually does wonders for a girls complexion. Mac: Okay, you know what? I'm leaving. (she gets up to leave, but he grabs her arm and pulls her back to the table) JT: Wait. Okay, I be serious now. (she looks at him for a moment and then sits back down on her seat.) Look I was just wondering how are things between you and Abbott. Mac: Why do you wanna know? JT: Well if things are going well then that's good for me, but if they're bad then it's bad for me. Mac: Why? What's it to you? JT: If things are good with you two then I can get Brittany no problem, but if things aren't good then I will have a little obstacle ahead of me. Mac: Why do you want to be with her so much? What's so great about Brittany? JT: The things is there's nothing great about her except for the challenge. I could never get her and especially since she is so hung up for Abbott and still is. Mac: You really are a jerk you know that. You treat women like a piece of meat. JT: (he asks jokingly) Well aren't you just a piece of meat? (he has a wide big grin on his face and she has a look of disgust) Mac: You know what I don't even know why I am still here talking to you. (she gets up to leave) JT: Well hey, you didn't answer my question. (he calls after her) Mac: And I don't plan on doing that. JT: Come on Mac. Mac: (she stops walking and turns around to face him) No things are not going well between Billy and I. Okay. (she turns around and leaves) JT: Well gee, thanks for the info. You know we should do this again sometimes. (he talks to himself) This is just great. Now I have to figure out a way to get the two back together and keep Brittany and Billy away from each other. (He gets up and goes to the bar.) Billy is pacing around the living room wondering what he was going to do about Mac. Should he call her or should he just leave her alone and let her let off some steam before speaking to her. Just then the doorbell rings. He looks up at the door and think maybe it's Mac. He goes over to the door and sees that it is not Mac, it was Brittany. He opens the door. Billy: Hi Brittany. What are you doing here? Brittany: Oh well do I need a reason to come and see you? Billy: Considering the circumstances yeah you do. Brittany: I thought maybe we could talk about some things if you're not busy of course. Billy: No no I'm not busy. Ummm come in. Brittany: Thanks. (she steps inside and looks around then she turns around to Billy) Billy: So what did you want to talk about? Brittany: I think you know Billy. Billy: You want to talk about what happened? Brittany: Yes Billy. I just don't understand it. Why would you do something like this to me? Why would you lie to me about it? You could have told me the truth about things. Sure I would be hurt, but not as hurt as I am now. Billy: I'm really sorry Brittany. I never meant to hurt you. It's just that things just got way out of control and... Brittany: Things just got out of control? What does that mean? How far did you guys plan on taking this whole thing? Billy: Brittany, we were just taking things as they came. We both wanted to tell you and Raul about everything but we couldn't. Brittany: Why? What was stopping you? Billy: Look I can't get into that with you. Brittany: Why the hell not? Don't you think I deserve to know? (Billy doesn't answer her and just looks down to the ground. Brittany just looks at him) You don't think I deserve to know? (she sound likes she's about to cry) Are you saying that I never meant anything to you? (he doesn't answer and she starts to get mad) Damn it Billy answer me! Just answer me! ( she thinks to herself) Okay Brittany, you really need to calm down before you ruin everything. Just calm down and regroup) Please Billy just talk to me. Billy: Brittany, I just can't tell you. I do care about you, but it's just not the way you want it to be. I care about you as a friend. And only just as a friend. Brittany: But I don't want us to be just friends Billy, I want more than that. (she walks towards him) I want us to be together like we used to be and I want you to tell me that I am the one that you want to be with and not Mackenzie. (she gets closer to him to the point where she is almost touching him) I want you to love me the way I love you. (she brings her arms around his neck and tries to kiss him) Billy: (He turns his head and pushes Brittany away) Brittany just stop it okay. We can't be together. Not like that. I can only be your friend. That's all. Brittany: Don't you want to be with me? Don't you have any feelings for me? Billy: I'm with Mac. I want to be with Mac. I love her Brittany. I've loved her ever since I met her. Brittany: All right I get it. You love Mackenzie, but what about me? What about me Billy? I just want to be with you. I love you. Billy: Brittany, I'm really sorry, but I can't lie to you anymore. If I do I will only end up hurting you even more and I just can't do that to you. I don't love you Brittany. I don't want to be with you. I don't have any kind of romantic feelings for you. Those feelings are only reserved for Mac and Mac only. I'm sorry. (Brittany she looks down and starts to cry. Billy looks at her and sees her crying. He feels bad, but he also knows that he can't pretend to have feelings for her anymore. It just wasn't fair for her or for him. He walks over to Brittany and places a hand on her arm. She looks up at him still crying. They just look at each other neither one moving. Then suddenly the doorbell rings.) Billy and Brittany look at the door. Brittany: Are you expecting anybody? Billy: No I'm not. (he walks up to the door and sees that it's Mac. He looks back at Brittany then he thinks to himself) Great timing Mac. Why couldn't you stop by later instead of now. Arghhhh. (he opens the door.) Hey Mac. Mac: Hey. Can I come in? Billy: Uhhhhh sure. (He moves out of the way so she could come in and looks at Brittany. He's not sure what Mac's reaction is going to be like when she see Brittany, but he has a feeling it's going to be bad. Brittany looks at him and then sees Mac as she walks in. She starts to get angry. Mac looks at the floor when she walks in and then when she looks up she sees an angry Brittany.) Mac: I'm sorry. Did I interrupt something. (she looks at Billy with sadness, anger, and confusion) Billy and Brittany at the same time: No you didn't. Yes you did. (Billy and Brittany look at each other. Billy is mentally telling Brittany to shut up while Brittany is mentally asking him what the hell is he doing.) Billy: No Mac you didn't interrupt. (he says that very clearly) Mac: Maybe I should leave. (she turns around to leave) Billy: (he grabs her arm and holds on tight.) Mac wait! At the same time Brittany says: Yes you should leave. Me and Billy were in a middle of a private conversation. Billy: Brittany just shut up! Brittany: No I will not shut up. I want to have a private talk with you. Billy: Brittany please! (Mac yanks her arm away from his grip and tries to open the door when Billy pushes the door to close it. He keeps his hand there until Mac turns around to face him.) Mac: What are you doing? I am leaving so you and your girlfriend Brittany can have your private conversation. Billy: Mac, Brittany is not my girlfriend you are. I'm not letting you go like this. Mac we need to talk. Brittany: (being the annoying girl that she is) Billy, we are not finished with our conversation yet, so I think Mackenzie can wait. Billy: (getting real annoyed with her) Brittany I think you should go. Mac: No no, she should stay. I should be the one to go. (she turns to open the door and and once again he shuts the door before she could open it all the way) Billy: No Mac you are staying, and Brittany is going. (he looks at Brittany with a look that says don't even think about arguing with me expression) Now. Brittany: (she looks at Mac and then at Billy) Fine. I'll go, but don't think you're done with me. (she walks to the door and as she passes Mac she gives her a long hard stare that says you haven't won yet missy. Then she flips her hair and opens the door and leaves. Billy watches her go and so does Mac. Then he looks at her and puts his hand on her shoulder and turns her around to face him) Billy: Mac I can explain if you would just listen. Mac: No! I don't want to hear anything that you have to say. Billy: Don't do this, please! You have to listen to me. Nothing is going on between me and Brittany. Mac: (she ignore everything that he had just said) You know I had a chance to thinks things over after our conversation and I realized that maybe I was little hard on you. Then when I come here to apologize you are here with Brittany. It was obvious that you guys were in a heated conversation. (she starts to cry) Billy: Mac if you would just calm down and listen to me. Just let me explain. Mac: Explain what?! That you and Brittany are getting back together or that you- Billy: Mac we are not getting back together. I want to be with you and nobody else. (at this point he starts to cry) Mac: You know what? I don't know why I let you do this to me. I should have known that this day would come. Billy: Mac what are you talking about? Mac: I should have known this would never last. We are too different. This would never had worked out. Billy: How can you say that Mac? Mac: Because it's true. (geez that line is sad) I...I have to go. (she turns around to leave, but Billy stops her. He grabs her by the arm and kind of shakes her) Billy: NO Mac I am not going to let you leave without hearing me out. (Mac would not look at him, but Billy is looking straight at her) Brittany and I are not together in any way. She stopped by to talk about what happened and she asked me why we lied and if I loved her or had ever loved her and I told her no. I don't love her Mac, I love you. And I won't let you leave until you believe me and forgive me. Mac: Let me go right now. (she says that in a steady and calm voice but is still stern) Billy: No I won't. Not until you believe me. Someone walks in to the room. Mystery person: What's going on here? Mystery Person: Well, what is going on here? (Billy lets go of Mac) Mac: Nothing. I was just leaving. (She opens the door and leaves and shuts the door behind her. More like slamming the door. Billy hits the door with his fist and then with his head) |
