The gray stormy clouds began to roll in as Mac walked down the path towards the playhouse. Her heart was full of sadness as she wondered why her mind and body had led her to this place full of sad memories. She tested the playhouse doorknob and found it unlocked. As she entered her mind flashed back to the day she and Billy first came here. She had been ready to run away, but Billy had stopped her. Saying he'd just found her and he had no intention of loosing her again. As she walked around the room she heard the thunder and lightening roll in. And when she finally sat down on the couch she heard the rain begin to fall. "Great" she said. "Now I'm stuck here until the storm passes!" She leaned back against the couch and tears began to roll down her cheeks as she thought of the fateful night her heart had been totally shattered. She couldn't get the vision out of her head and every time she saw it her heart broke even more. Suddenly the door opened behind her and she turned to stare into the warm eyes of Billy.

Billy had just tried to call Mac again, but Ester had told him that Mac had gone for a walk. "Where are you Mac" he wondered aloud? "I have to know why you suddenly hate me so much!" As he sat back against the living room couch he heard the thunder and lightening roll in and suddenly thought of where Mac had gone! "The playhouse" he whispered! "That has to be where she is!" He quickly stood and hurried our the back door and down the path on the playhouse. As he spotted the playhouse through the thickening darkness the rain began to fall. Billy quickened his step as he prayed for Mac to be there. When he reached the front door he was soaking wet and as he reached for the doorknob he could hear her sobs. He opened the door slowly and spotted Mac with her back to him. She turned suddenly and stared him straight in the eyes. "This isn't going to be easy," he thought to himself as he walked into the playhouse, closing the door behind him.

"What are you doing here" She asked him. "Looking for you" he replied as he slowly stepped closer to her. "Back off Billy" She said with a glare. "But Mac, we need to talk" he said with a sad look in his eyes. "Like I've told you a million times, there's nothing to talk about" she replied with a frown. "Now if you'll excuse me, I should be getting home!" She tried to push past him, but he grabbed her arm and held it gently. "Wait Mac! Can't you just tell me why you're angry with me" he pleaded! "Fine Billy" she cried tears running down her cheeks! "You want to know, I'll tell you!" She slipped from his grasp and walked over to sit back down on the couch. "The night of the sleep over I saw you with Brittany in the pool house" she said beginning to sob. "Mac, I don't understand, what did you see" asked Billy as he walked over to sit next to her. "I saw you having sex with Brittany on the couch" she cried. "What" he cried. "I've never slept with Brittany!" "Then what was it I saw" she accused, tears sill running down her cheeks. "I don't know, but then again that night is a little fuzzy" he replied, running his hand through his hair. "All I remember is talking with her and then she gave me more coffee. The next thing I knew I was sound asleep!" "So you're saying nothing happened," she asked. "Mac I would never sleep with her, you're the one I want" he replied reaching up to dry a tear that slid down her cheek. "But I saw you Billy" she cried. "I didn't imagine it!" "Right now the only thing I can think of is that she slipped something into my drink and then made it look like we were making love" he replied as he took her hand in his. "That has to be it!" "Are you sure" she asked still feeling unsure. "Well we can't be sure unless we get Brittany to admit it, but I have a strong feeling that's what happened," he said. "Oh Billy, I thought for sure that you didn't want me any more," cried Mac. "Mac come here" he said pulling her into his arms. "I've never wanted anyone more than you! I love you Mac!" "I love you too Billy" she said wrapping her arms tighter around his neck. When they pulled apart Billy leaned in and kissed her softly and then deepened the kiss. And when they broke apart Mac just smiled at Billy and he returned the smile.
