Hey Guys! I'm going to be on a swiss festival these days until sunday, july 1, so i won't be able to update my site. Have a nice week.

Sorry guys for the late update, but i was really really busy with school stuff and work, so i didn't get the time to update.

Linkin Park were slated to perform Friday, June 15 at the Heineken Jammin' Festival in Venice, Italy, but due to a violent storm several light towers were brought down injuring a number of fans at the festival; fortunately there were no fatalities. Linkin Park were not able to perform nor were My Chemical Romance due to the immediate cancellation of the show. LP have issued the following statement: "We are saddened by the events that happened in Venice today and our hearts are with the injured fans and their families. The Linkin Park family wishes them a speedy recovery and hope to see them the next time we visit Italy."

Chester talks about Dead By Sunrise in an interview with Launch Radio Networks.

Launch Radio Networks reports: Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington has put his solo plans aside for the moment to focus on his main band. Reports that Bennington was working on an album of his own first surfaced nearly two years ago, with the singer later telling MTV.com that he had up to three separate projects on tap. But Bennington told Launch that while he did start work on at least one side venture, he's put it on the back burner for now. "I was actually pretty deep into recording my other project, called Dead By Sunrise, and we were really far into the record," he said. "And then, you know, LP got together and we all decided that we wanted to make a record and start as soon as possible. So Linkin Park takes the lead, you know what I mean? So I stopped working on the record and I'll be finishing it up while we're touring over these next couple of years, and it'll be ready to go out."

XM Radio today announced that they will broadcast 27-hours of continuous, live coverage from all nine Live Earth concerts. Linkin Park will play in Tokyo at the Makuhari Messe.

The Live Earth concert series will begin in Sydney, Australia and continue across all seven continents with official concerts in Tokyo, Japan; Shanghai, China; Johannesburg, South Africa; London, United Kingdom; Hamburg, Germany; Istanbul, Turkey; and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, before concluding at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
XM's live coverage will begin at 9 p.m. ET on Friday, July 6, on XM's main Live Earth channel, "Live Earth All Access" (XM channel 40). "Live Earth All Access" will feature around-the-clock coverage with highlights of the most memorable performances, backstage interviews and more, throughout the day. In addition, each city's concert will be broadcast live in its entirety.

German fans can catch the live telecast of Live Earth concert on Prosieben channel on July 7 from 7pm to 8.15 pm and from 11:15pm to 3am.

In less than a month since its release Linkin Park's latest album, Minutes to Midnight, has achieved Platinum sales status (i.e. it has sold in excess of 1 million copies).

As of today, June 20th, 2007, Minutes to Midnight has been certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for sales exceeding 1 million copies in the U.S. in just 4 weeks.

As for other stats related to the album, it debuted at #1 and sold 623,996 copies in its first week alone, making it the highest debut album of the year.

Additionally, Minutes to Midnight has shipped over 3.3 million copies worldwide, plus the album has reached the #1 slot in 32 countries and has been certified platinum in 16 countries to date.

Linkin Park will be on Austrian music station, Go TV in a show called Hosted by.. on July 1 at 11 am, the band will be presenting their favourite videos.

Linkin Park gave a shout out to Motley Crue during their headlining set at Download Festival tonight (June 9).

The comeback kings, who recently scored a Number One album with 'Minutes To Midnight', said they were sad to miss the Vince Neil led rockers who were playing on the Dimebag Darrell stage.

Before playing 'Somewhere I Belong' co-lead singer Chester Bennington said: "The only thing that I'm bummed out about is that I'm missing Motley Crue's set."

The group raced through their hits but also played a number of songs from their current album including 'What I've Done' and 'Bleed It Out'.

Bennington told the crowd prior to 'Crawling': "We'd like to thank you guys for making 'Minutes To Midnight' Number One across the fucking world.

"And we just want to dedicate this show to all of you who've been Linkin Park fans since day one - I can see a lot of 'LP' flags out there."

For the second time this week, Warner Brother's has for whatever reasons prevented Linkin Park from being webcast at a European festival. Earlier this week it was at Pinkpop, and today, it was their performance at Rock AM Ring in Germany, where Linkin Park has played before in 2001 and 2004, of which both performances were webcast, making this decision even more surprising.

It does appears that MTV will be broadcasting Linkin Park's set this Sunday.

Chester told Launch Radio that he's looking forward to play at countries Linkin Park have never played before.

Launch Radio Networks reports: Linkin Park began a European and Asian tour last week that will bring the band for the first time to countries like Poland and Russia. While the group has played other countries in Eastern Europe like the Czech Republic, singer Chester Bennington told Launch that Linkin Park is especially looking forward to these first-time visits. "We haven't been to Poland or Russia and I'm really looking forward to it," he said. "We get to play Moscow, St. Petersburg. Those shows should be really, really awesome. And I know we've had a lot of demand from our fans out there for a couple of years, and we finally get to go out and perform." Linkin Park will play in St. Petersburg, Russia on June 5, Moscow on June 6, and Katowice, Poland on June 13.

More charity auction, Linkin Park is one of the celebrities to lent a hand to support Hospice of Michigan�s 2007 Face Behind the Mask event. It will be held at the Uptown Palladium Theatre in Birmingham, the June 7 event will begin at 6 p.m. More details here.

Playbill has a report on the Actors' Fund of America's Auction of 1000 Stars on June 11 at www.auctionof1000stars.org, one of the items on auction is a chance to meet Linkin Park.
