Hello there, my name is Ben Peppler and I am the singer for the little musical group The Red Start. I’ve been playing guitar for about 3.5 years and been singing for a couple days, joking, actually years. I met Brendan and Ben on the beaches of Fort Wayne. I felt bad for the two fellows because Ben only had a piece of driftwood, and I felt bad for Brendan because he was hanging out with Ben. I was pretty much the guy who influenced the two to play music. I was previously in a band called One Two Punch, but we were bad and I dropped out. Brendan, Ben and I started a band. We have been together for a while. Brendan, the drummer, stopped singing and the rest of the band held me at gunpoint and forced me to sing, Joking , but seriously they did. Some of the bands that I like and influence the songs I write are Blink 182, The Early November, The All-American Rejects and Something Corporate. My electric guitar is a Fender American Stratocaster and my acoustic is a Washburn WD42OSCE. I use a Marshall AVT275 to amplify the sounds. My microphone of choice is a SHURE microphone.
