The Dom/Sub relationship and the knock offs
Ok.....here is my explanation, to the best of my understanding, of each of the typical relationships that have the dom/sub synergy. I think I missed one. Let me know?
The master/slave first. A master/mistress is someone who possess legal authority to own and keep slaves. It is a master/mistress's responsibility to care for the slave, in terms of keeping said slave alive. They break, train, punish, and sometimes reward a slave to keep them in check. Though there are many cases of slave abuse but no charges being filed. A slave is bound by law and code of slave to serve his/her master/mistress. They can be arrested and charged if they do not comply, or worse, left to their master/mistress for punishment. They have no rights not given to them by their master/mistress. They do as are told and as a rule should not question it.
Nest, the Owner/Pet. Unlike the master/slave relationship, a Pet serves her Owner out of trust, desire, love, and loyalty, not legally binding documents or an iron fist. The Pet loves her owner, eagerly serves him, jumps at his slightest whim, and wants nothing more then his approval. An Owner keeps his pet out of love for her. He cares for her, treats her wounds, teaches her, trains her, feeds her, and in all around is her caretaker. Owners are able to get their Pets to listen to them better then most Masters can get theri Slaves to listen because you can "You catch more bees with honey then with vinegar" In general, pets are able to leave their Owner at any time, and do whatever they want. But it's usually the case they choose to stay and serve because it fits their lifestyle.
Daddy's are men are driven by a powerful fatherly paternal instrict. They care for their lil girl, feed her, bath her, dress her, baby her, teach her everything, show her the world, takes her fun places, and spoils her. Daddy lets his lil Girl know the rules of the house, and he does everything in his power to make sure his lil Girl has everything in the world she could ever want. Daddy's lil Girl wants nothing more then her Daddy's approval, to see him smile and be proud of her. That is the greatest gift she can get. She does anything in her power to make her Daddy happy, and does a good job of listening to her(unless she's in the mood to be punished for being a bad girl) Like the Owner/Pet, there is no legal binding restrictions to the relation, other then the bond between "father" and "daughter". Of course, neither Daddy or Daughter or usually ever related by blood. If you want to know about the Collaring thing ask I'll tell you. I think that's about it.
