Full Moon

The full moon shines brightly in the night sky. Luna displays all her power and glory, with no deception or subtlety. So, too, do the Children of the Burning Moon. Those of the Full Moon Caste are direct and straightforward in their actions. They survive with the power of their own bodies, trusting in their ability to batter down anything that stands in their way. A Child of the Burning Moon is a dynamo of nearly endless physical energy and a paragon of physical development. Her body is a perfectly honed tool, and even at rest, the power that burns within her muscles and bones radiates like a palpable force.

Members of the Full Moon Caste are the greatest warriors of the Silver Pact. Their unparalleled physical prowess makes them terrifying in battle, and few beings in Creation can stand up to one of the Full Moon Caste in one-on-one combat. Many are the tales of a single Lunar warrior cutting a bloody swath through entire mortal armies. Although young Lunars may favor a single combat style, an elder will often shift fluidly between different fighting techniques, tailoring attacks to match his opponent’s weaknesses.

Away from battle, Full Moon Lunars continue to hone their physical prowess. Dangerous hunts, back-breaking manual labor and journeys into the uninhabited wilderness are only a few of the ways a member of the Full Moon Caste will test herself. When gathered into groups, Full Moon Lunars that meet inevitably challenge each other to tests of strength, stamina and dexterity.

Trials: A Lunar of the Full Moon Caste typically survives her trials by taking direct action. Monsters and wild beasts are simply beaten to death with bare hands or carved to pieces with a rapid barrage of bladework. Long treks across uninhabited wastelands are survived through sheer endurance as the Lunar walks without pause or rest. Ritual hunts are completed by chasing the animal down until it gives out. Regardless of what the challenge is, the Full Moon will conquer it with her incredible strength, legendary agility or inhuman endurance.

Totem Animals: Full Moon Lunars typically favor animals known for their great strength and endurance or for their speed and agility. Bears, great cats, deer, mammoths and aurochs are common, as are serpents and large birds of prey.

Anima Banner: The animas of Full Moon Caste Lunars are a steady glow of soft white or silver light. As more Essence is spent, the light grows in strength and intensity. When their banners become iconic, they depict abstract or realistic images of the Lunar’s totem form.

Anima Effects: A Lunar aspected to the Full Moon can spend 5 motes to attune her anima to her body, honing her physical prowess. For the rest of the scene, she can double her running and leaping distances. These bonuses stack with those provided by other Charms, but apply the bonuses separately, not in sequence. A character who doubles her movement twice only moves at triple, not quadruple speed.

Caste Attributes: Members of the Full Moon Caste are naturally inclined to survive through the use of their strength, agility and endurance. They possess a natural affinity for the Attributes of Strength, Dexterity and Stamina.
