Although it sounds counter-intuitive, the calculation of the "milestones" of pregnancy (dates of conception, end of first and second trimester, and estimated delivery date) are typically based on the first day of the last menstrual period (LMP). Date of conception is estimated to be two weeks later, so two weeks after conception you are considered to be 4 weeks pregnant. This is the standard, since it's often difficult to pin down the actual date of conception (although many couples know...wink, wink).

Anyway, this application simply takes the first day of the LMP, and subtracts two weeks to get the estimated date of conception. Estimating the end of the first trimester (12 weeks), end of second trimester (27 weeks), and delivery date (40 weeks) are a simple matter of adding 7 x number of weeks.

Printing in this application is through PalmPrint or SCSPrint, if installed. If neither is present, the results can only be sent to MemoPad for later printing or inclusion into other reports.

This application is too simple to charge anything for, so I'm releasing it as free software, with NSBasic code as well, for anyone who wishes to use this application as a starting point.
