First try VIN and Pubmed (Medline)When you do a Pubmed search, and find an article you want, all you have to do is click on the "order button," and the article magically appears in your mailbox in a few days.

VIN Search: http://www.vin.com/Members/Search/
(have to be a member, but it is WORTH IT)

PubMed Search - http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi
            (Medline back to 1966)

Medical Sciences Library -MSL(TAMU)- member of Loansome Doc. You can sign up with MSL and get a Loansome Doc account for free. If you check the box that approves Interlibrary loan, if they don't have the article, they will find it for you, and send it on. Charges are usually around $5.00 per article they have, and $10.00 for articles they get by interlibrary loan, but the Interlibrary loan articles can vary, depending on how long they are, and where they come from. If you want to find out how much an interlibrary loan article is before you approve it, just give them a call. The staff at MSL is VERY accomodating. If you live in a city that has its own medical library that keeps vet journals, you can use them instead of MSL if they participate with Loansome Doc. They are especially supportive of Texas Vets, and have most of the veterinary journals right there.
