TEXAS DEMOCRATIC VETERANS were formed in El Paso Texas June 14, 2002 by members of the Texas Democratic Party's  Convention's  Veteran Caucus.



We were formed first and formost to support our Veterans and thier issues but also to support Democratic Candidates that support our veterans and our military personnel. This year we are fortunate to have many Democratic Candidates that unlike many of their Republican opponents HAVE SERVED, or are the Sons and Daughters, or the Wives and Mothers of military personnel. We as Democrats and as Americans support OUR TROOPS BECAUSE WE ARE OUR TROOPS OR SERVED HONORABLE OR HAVE OFFERED UP OUR CHILDREN TO SERVE. We not ONLY TALK THE TALK WE DO AND HAVE WALKED THE WALK.



This Administration and their supporters in Congress have short changed our military and our veterans. When truly investigated their actions tend to appear to benefit themselves and their supporters while forgetting who gave them their positions of Power, Join us in saying enough is enough -- lies and half truths are not enough any longer. At the State Level we are faces with hundred of thousands of acres of our fellow Texans land being taken to be given to a foriegn company for its use. Our Veterans and our National Guardsmen are cheated and left wanting while millions of dollars are going to Lobbyiest to Represent the People of Texas as they ask us to return their Congressional Delegation to Washington, because they have "represented" us SO WELL. Theirs is a "good ol' boy" system worse than the one they said they were fighting almost 20 years ago.
