Champion
Johnny Hardcore

Amy Williams
vs
Spectre
with
Stacia Roberts
vs
Sideways BoB
With
Dr. Rachel Goldman
vs
Prime Punisher

Johnny Hardcore and Spectre went toe to toe while Sideways BoB and Prime Punisher went toe to toe, in one of the toughest matches of all time.  Two referees, David Geddie and Jason Tran, trying to cover the action, as it spilled all over the arena.  Williams and Goldman started into a cat fight midway through the match, which prompted Sideways BoB and Johnny Hardcore to separate the two, meanwhile Spectre took a steel pole and nailed Prime Punisher for a two count, Spectre then was then attacked by Hardcore and BoB before the ladies went at it again.  While Trying to separate the two, Prime Punisher was nailed by Stacia Roberts with a steel chair.  Spectre then hit a pile driver on the floor on Punisher for the win at 23:19 to win the Brass Knuckles Title.  Hardcore tried to rip away the title, and succeeded by smashing Spectre with a chair.  Hardcore was claiming since he never was pinned, he should still have the belt.  Hardcore walked off with the title, but Spectre is the official champion.

Loser leaves WCCW and NeWA FOREVER!
Tag Team Elimination match

Justin Simcox
and
Great Muta
vs
Tully Blanchard
and
Dusty Rhodes

Simcox and Muta, knowing that Simcox was up in the Texas Title Finals later in the card, knew they must win in order to keep Simcox in the tournament, went all over the ring with Blanchard and Rhodes and took them apart.  Surprisingly, Muta was the first one out at 13:45 when he sprayed Red Mist in the eyes of the former American Dream and thus being disqualified.  Simcox however, wasted no time and pinned Rhodes followed a Slingshot Suplex at 14:10.   Blanchard and Simcox, former partners went toe to toe and continued to where Simcox got Blanchard in a Texas Cloverleaf for the submission until two masked individuals came out and attacked Simcox three on one.  Referee Wayne Johnson threw out the match, realizing the significance of the outcome in the match.  Hence, both teams were still into WCCW with the no contest ruling..  The two masked men unmasked themselves to be a shocking development as Ric Flair and Sid Vicious were back in the NeWA.  Suddenly, Muta returned with nun chucks and the reformed Horsemen fled the ring.

Texas Death match
No countout, no DQ. Pinfalls only grant 30 seconds of rest!
Continues until one man can not respond to a 10-count after the bell rings!

"Lightning"
Mike Rush
vs
"Outlaw"
Matt Nelson

This match was incredible as Outlaw Matt Nelson returned despite a neck brace.   But the neck injury was a focal point for the Hangman to utilize and he wasted no time attacking the neck and upper shoulder area.  Matt Nelson got the first fall via a Chair Shot at 8:13.   Mike Rush got up at the eight count and went straight back on the neck,   Ripping off the neck brace, Mike Rush then took a steel chain and wrapped it around Nelson's neck, choking the Outlaw while using a part of it to pound on Nelson, busting him open again... and then covered him for the three count at 12:40.   After the second rest period, Nelson got up slowly at nine, and met up with a chain again.   Rush then used a Million Dollar Dream Chokehold for the submission at 14:31.  Nelson did not get up after the 30 seconds rest and the ten count.  Rush was declared the winner at 15:12.   Paramedics took Matt Nelson off in a stretcher as he was severely busted open.

Rhodes, Blanchard, Flair and Vicious all left the arena, thinking they had demoralized Justin Simcox.

Women's' Steel Cage match

Dr. Rachel Goldman
vs
"2 Sexy"
Amy Williams

This was the first of two incredible steel cage matches.  Amy Williams and Rachel Goldman were going at each other as both Johnny Hardcore and Sideways BoB were both in the back under warning from Scot Zeltwagner, Commissioner of possible suspensions.  As the brawl continued from the cage....Amy Williams nailed the good doctor and was going for three count....when Stacia Roberts came down to ringside with the newly crowned Brass Knuckles Champion, Spectre and Roberts asked to enter the cage....and then nailed Amy Williams in the back of the head with a kendo stick.   Dr. Rachel Goldman got up and Roberts told Goldman to make the cover.   As Goldman did, one .....two....Roberts nailed her with the kendo stick and began to pummel both women repeatedly with the kendo stick.  Referee Sam Hall threw out the match.  Roberts then picked Goldman up by the hair and threw her into the cage, followed by a repeat performance for Amy Williams.  Both Goldman and Williams were busted open and then Roberts hit a pile driver on Williams, and then Goldman was nailed into via caupalt to the steel post.  Roberts then continued to pummel both repeatedly to the ribs with the kendo stick.   Stacia Roberts left with both Williams and Goldman practically both knocked out and in serious pain.   Eventually, after the cage was lifted, both Amy Williams and Dr. Goldman were carried out in stretchers.

The Finals to the Texas Title Tournament. WCCW TV Title is also on the line!!

Justin Simcox
vs
Kamikaze Kid

This was the culmination of a great 30 man tournament.  Simcox, still recovering from the earlier attack, was on fire. And took Kamikaze Kid to the limit.  Kamikaze Kid then surprised every one with a Corkscrew Neckbreaker for only a two count.  Kamikaze Kid then surprised again with a TDT, in tribute to his pal, Matt Tuilo.   Kid then went up to the top rope for the 720 Moonsault, but Simcox pulled a dropkick and Kid fell off the top rope to the floor.  Kid was knocked out. Jason Tran, counted Kamikaze Kid out of the match at 13:41.   Simcox was crowned the new Texas Heavyweight Champion, but did not win the WCCW Television Title.   The crowd stood up and applauded Justin Simcox for winning the Texas Title Tournament.

It was announced that C. Joseph Hoffman had just left Denver and on his way back from a NeWA Board Meeting and planning to be at ringside for the double main event.

WCCW Tag Team Title Unification match
Winner may earn title shot at
NeWA Constitutional Combat against NeWA Tag Team Champions!

WCCW Southwest Tag Team Champions
Tim Tuilo
and
Kamikaze Kid
vs
WCCW Texas Tag Team Champions
The Rock
and
"The Natural" Mike Bell

This was quite a surprising match as Sharpshooter Force allies Mike Bell and Matt Tuilo were on opposite sides of this match since Rock had asked Mike Bell to be his partner.  Rock and Tuilo went after each other and every time Rock went for Bell, Bell moved away.  Tuilo tagged in Kamikaze Kid and then Rock dominated Kid and again went for the tag, but again.....no Bell.   Rock then hit the Avalanche DDT on Kid, and went for the cover...Bell was asking for the tag then.....and Rock thought about it for a minute....tagged in Bell, and Bell came in and whispered to Rock in the ear, and then nailed Rock with a uppercut and then followed it with a DDT to the applause of the fans.  Mike Bell then left the ring as Tuilo and Kamkiaze Kid went two on one on ROCK with Tuilo coming in to hit the TDT, followed by the Tuilo-plex....as referee Sam Hall was making the count, Kamikaze Kid made a 720 Corkscrew Moonsault while Tuilo released the Tuilo-plex and Kid connected for the three count and the win at 11:45 to win the WCCW Unified Tag Team Titles.  Afterwards, Mike Bell and Matt Tuilo highfived one another as ROCK was in the ring in absolute frustration, throwing chairs and then nailed the referee for making the count.

NeWA World Crusierweight Title match

NeWA World Crusierweight Champion
Jim Dalton
vs
"The Aerial ICON"
Tim Tuilo

This was a well fought out match with both men fighting out for toe to toe.  Tim Tuilo hit the TDT at 32:45, but was only given a two count for his efforts.  He went up to the top and hit the Aireal Splash and again, only a two count.  The Dragon went out and hit a German Bridge Suplex, Tuilo kicked out at two.  The match went back and forth with many nearfalls, with Tuilo getting an upperhand at the 59th minute.  As he got a second TDT on the ring veteran Dalton, he went back up onto the top and connected with a second Aieral Splash, he was too exhausted to get a pin for the count.  Seconds later, Tim covered again for a two count before the bell rang for a one hour time-limit draw.  Dalton retains the World Crusierweight Title.  Dalton and Tuilo shook hands after the match to a huge pop.

C. Joseph Hoffman arrived in the arena to a huge pop from the crowd and took the microphone.

"Two Weeks ago, I was, along with the entire WCCW Promotion was expelled from the NeWA by a enraged David Steele.  It was short-lived, but it made me think about things.  And Steele's last comments to me made me think even more.  So without any further ado, I am proud to induct into the WCCeW Hall of Fame, not two members as we promised, but three.....

The first, is a man who deserves credit for being the first WCCW Champion and deserves to be recognized as such.  WCCW Champion from February to July 1986 and a man whose career launched skyward after that title reign, to be a WWF Intercontinental Champion in 1989, and later a WCW US and International Champion.   He was forced into retirement in 1994, but his influence in the sport remained until his tragic death less than two months ago.  The first member inducted tonight will be the Ravishing One, Rick Rude....

The second member is the man we remember tonight, a great competitor in the ring, a man whose words and deeds can not be ever equaled.  He was a former two-time WWF Intercontinental Champion, a three time Tag Team Champion, and in my opinion, an uncrowned WWF World Champion.  He was also a great family man.  The second man inducted tonight is none other than the King of Harts, Owen Hart.

The third man tonight, is a man who should be commended for being one of the founders of the National Wrestling Alliance, and was one of the greatest promoters of all time.  He helped form the NWA in the late 40's and deserves our respect and admiration.   The third man tonight I induct to the WCCeW Hall of Fame will be Sam Munchick."

Crowd reacts to a larger pop then even before.

WCCW Southwest Title match
Triple Threat Elimination match
No time limit!

WCCW Southwest Triple Threat Champion
"Outsider"
Philip Jones
vs
WCCW Cruieserweight Champion
T Dawg
vs
#1 Contender to the Southwest Title "The Natural Boy"
Dan Benson

This was one of the finest triple threat elimination matches ever seen in wrestling.  Outsider and T Dawg went after Benson and it was for most of the match a two on one fight.  Benson then shocked everyone, by nailing Philip Jones to the outside and nailing T Dawg with a Shocker for the three count at 12:42.  Jones came back to the ring and it was a great one on one match.   Jones got the advantage and actually got the Modified Figure Four onto Benson and held in place for almost three minutes.   Benson reached to and got to the ropes, thus breaking the hold.  Jones continued the attack and nearly got the pinfall as Benson attempted a Shocker but on the weakened knees, he could not hold Jones up and Jones fell forward for a two count.   Benson was then picked and whipped to the ropes and Jones tried a backslide, which Benson reversed for a two count at the 34th minute.   Benson was whipped into the ropes and caught Jones off guard with the Cross Body Block.  Benson then got Jones up and hit a DDT and went across calling out the fans......he picked up Jones and nailed a Shocker for the win and became the Southwest Champion at 37:49.

To one of the largest pops ever in WCCW, Texas Lightning, Mike Bell and Matt Tuilo, members of the Sharpshooter Force came out with a new shirt for Dan Benson and Benson joined the Sharpshooter Force.  Tuilo, Lightning and Benson went to the back as the Steel Cage lowered for the second time in the evening.

NeWA United States Title match
Steel Cage match

NeWA United States Champion
"The Natural"
Mike Bell
vs
Byron Tanis

This was a match usually reserved for the PPVs of the NeWA, but this special treat of a match went back and forth....with the match going nowhere fast.   At the 45th minute, Mike Bell attempted the Natural Lock and Tanis blocked and shoved Bell into Referee Sam Hall, knocking Hall out.  Bell tried to revive the referee, but Tanis meanwhile was pulling out a steel chain and as Bell turned, Tanis nailed Bell with the chain laced fist.  Hall woke up and counted the three count at 48:11.  Bryon Tanis had defeated Mike Bell and won the NeWA United States Title.

President C. Joseph Hoffman entered the ring as the cage and took the microphone.

"Byron Tanis, if you think that I can let you walk away with that cheap win, you are sadly mistaken."

Hoffman pulls out a metal detector and starts to probe Tanis.   It goes off near his chest.  Hoffman reaches out and pulls out the steel chain.  Tanis denies its presence, but to no avail.

"Bryon Tanis, simply put.....you don't get away.  With the support of the NeWA and by reversed decision, the winner of the match and still NeWA United States Champion, the Natural Mike Bell."

Tanis tries to go after Hoffman, only to be stopped by Mike Bell and the rest of the Sharpshooter Force comes out to hold and pick up Tanis and escort him out of the building as security waits by the exit to take Tanis out to jail as the show ends.

Thanks to Don Owens, President of the NeWA and many others for their ideas and suggestions for this great card.

In memory and tribute of Owen Hart (1965-1999) and in honor of all of the Hart Family.

Owen, you will never be forgotten in our hearts and in our sport.  We love you, Owen Hart.
