Texas Strap Match

The Prime Punisher
300 lbs. Dallas, TX

vs.

The Punisher
295 lbs. Chicago, IL

The rules of this match are as follows. Both opponents are tied to a strap by their arms. The only way to win this match is to drag your opponent to each turnbuckle hitting it once you have reached it. There are 4 turnbuckles and you have to hit each one once, consecutively. No pins, no dqs.

This match started off great as skill showed a big deal. The Punisher completely dominated this match in strength and power. The Prime Punisher did had touched 3 turnbuckles but stopped when the Punisher hit him in the crotch and he fell to the mat.  The winner of this match was The Punisher when he hit the Prime Punisher with a hidden object behind the refs back and dragged him to all four corners of the ring.

Result - Punisher, in 25:06 minutes

Hardcore Tag Team Match

Mr. X & Disciple of Disipline
Total combined weight: ??? lbs.

vs.

"The Inquisition."
Father Tom Arson & Brother Pain
Total combined weight: 508 lbs.

These four combatants have been at each other throats lately.   Since this match had hard-core rules, all four men were in the ring at the same time.  Tom Arson and Disciple of Discipline spent most of the match on the outside of the ring, while Brother Pain & Mr. X fought in the ring.  At about 14:00, DoD tried throwing brass knuckles into the ring.  His aim was off and they went straight towards Brother Pain.  Pain was too stunned to grab them and they fell to the mat.   Mr. X was able to quickly snatch them up and he nailed Pain right in the head.   X went for the pin, but before he could get it, DoD, of all people came into the ring and attacked his partner.  He pulled another set of brass knuckles out of his tights and nailed X in the back of the head. Brother Pain was able to recover and lock Mr. X in the The Reckoning.  The ref lifted his arm three times and it dropped three times.

Result:  The winners of the match at 16:05, The Inquisition.

Grudge Match

The Rock
w/General Stone
356 lbs. Tewksbury, MA

vs.

Apollo
315 lbs. Toronto, Ontario

The WCCW was surely impressed tonight when two of the WCCW’s finest showed their skills. This match went all over the place. Not once did it stay in the ring.  The Rock proved to his WCCW fans that he was not one to mess with when he constantly took down the NeWA Canadian champion. 30 minutes into the match non other than The Natural Dan Benson interfered in this match. Both The Rock and The Natural took turns beating Apollo to career threatening injuries. But Apollo came back like always, and took out both of his opponents. They all fought back into the ring where Benson knocked out Apollo with a pair of Brass Knuckles. Just when he was about to pin, Matt and Tim Tulio came out and with a garbage container. They beat Benson, threw him in, and rolled him out of the arena. They beat The Rock and left both him and Apollo in the middle of the ring with a single steel chair. Both Apollo and the Rock got up. Benson goes for the chair, Apollo kicks him in the gut, and gives him the Engage (DDT onto a chair). Apollo follows it up with a pin for the victory.

Result- Apollo wins and in 39:42 minutes.

Title for Title Hardcore Tag Team Match

NeWA U.S. Tag Team champions
"The Rebels"
Rick Evans & Buck Smith
Total combined weight: 650 lbs.

vs.

World Class tag team champions
"The Natural ICONS"
Matt & Tim Tulio
Total combined weight: 501 lbs.

This match proved to the entire world that these two teams were the best the NeWA had to offer. This match was very extreme using, many weapons including tables and steel chairs. WCCW’s tag champions proved they could take on the
best and the rest of the competition.  Matt and Tim almost ended the match when they laid Rick Evans on a table on the out side of the ring and Matt did a kamikaze dive onto him. But non the less the NeWA U.S. tag team champs left they’re mark on Matt and Tim, when Buck tied Matt Tulio up with Barbed wire, and hit him with a steel chair. The match ended because of the time limit. I am sure we will see another match like this one in the future.

Result - No Contest due to time limit.

(Music plays as Vice President Lee Salter comes down to ring side.)

Lee Salter: Ladies and Gentlemen, tonight since Joseph Hoffman is at home resting due to an illness. I decided to present this evening to you myself. He did leave some things let go that I was unaware of.  But tonight I have changed some of the matches......

Lee Salter: Although I am new to this fed, I am one of the best promoters in the entire NeWA.  Tonight the NeWA tv champion was supposed to fight an unknown opponet. Mike Bell was also supposed to fight an unknown opponent. So my plan is tonight, instead of finding two opponents, I have decided to have one match. To settle it all. One good clean match. That I will be at ring side for. Tonight your main event WCCW, will be Omega and Mike Bell one on one, each putting their titles on the line.

World Television vs. Texas Title

NeWA World Television Champion

Omega
280 lbs. Phoenix, AZ

vs.

Texas Heavyweight Champion
"The Natural"
Mike Bell
247 lbs. Toronto, Ontario

This main event match up was one of the best matches in WCCW history. Both competitors gave it their all to prove to the NeWA, they had what it takes to deserve more NeWA gold. Mike Bell gave WCCW a good name in this match showing that the WCCW might be down, but not out of the NeWA’s competition. Although Mike Bell tried, Omega still came out on top. Omega went to the top ropes for a elbow drop and Mike Bell moved in time. This match unfortunately turned into the worst when both men were on the ground and Apollo ran down to ring side.  VP Lee Salter tried to stop him, but got knocked out by Apollo. Apollo ran into the ring with a steel chair, and beat both men until they bled. The ref then called for the bell as the Natural Dan Benson came down, and there was a brawl.

Result: No Contest. Match ended in 45:08
