I see you walkin' down life's lonesome weary road.
In your eyes are stories that your life has surely told.
But, you must carry on... and go over that last mile.
Let God guide you and your life will be wortwhile.
I was guilty myself of doing the things, I see you do.
Then a friend came and showed, what I am tellin' you.
It's not easy at first, but 'twill stand the test of time.
To live another way... is nothing but a crime.
Your life's philosophy's been "to cast off all the blame".
When will you realize my friend that life is not a game.
We must all work at being the best that we can be.
Living happily in harmony is life's philosophy for me.
We need to pull our weight and honor priority.
There's no shortcut and "good things" aren't always free.
When we understand this, we'll see a better way.
Let's take it to heart and make life brighter day by day.
So now it's your time.... to turn over a new leaf.
Just do it and you'll find...security and relief.
There's always the old way to go back, if you wanted to.
But, do this and you'll know, it's The Way For You.
Your life's philosophy has been to take whatever you can.
But there's a better way that God has shown to man.
We must all try to be the best that we can be.
Loving and forgiving, is life's philosophy for me.
