In life we all have two roads to travel.
What will it be, a life carefree or living a battle?
People say there's an easy way or the hard way.
The easy way you say, go with the flow... everyday,
with no concern about a future you can't control,
Avoid relentless self torture to being a restless soul,
planning and striving, till we've grown old...
And before you know it... the last page is closed.
The easy way is to make merry with your friends,
Don't even worry of... what tomorrow brings,
The moment is now, enjoy... before it ends.
This is the mentality of Devastated Beginnings.
The Hard Way... living right and trying to be fair.
Working for your living and... loving to share.
Remember God's watching, He really does care
And guarding your heart... from every evil snare.
Maybe you're not looking for sweat, agony and pain.
Remember, the sun always follows from the rain.
It's best from the start... to do the right thing.
No doubt it's hard but worth your peace returning.
Life's road has a goal, we can only go... by one way.
You choose what's best for you, in your earthly stay.
Is it the easy way, with an illusive life of leisure?
The easy way becomes the hard way and the hard way?
Well, keep faith in play and it'll get, quite a bit... easier.
