| ~Putting God First...~ Once, I was drowning in the pit of my sin Then a man told me what my condition was in My life was so confused as to the reason I am here I know putting God first makes all perfectly clear He gave me a bible by placing it into my hand saying read this my friend and you'll understand So I took it and read and to my great surprise I saw how to live honestly and it made me wise Yet the best reward is the truth I've found out About the man, Jesus and His life, no doubt What He did for me cut to the core of my soul Now, living just for Jesus is my ultimate goal Maybe you question the very purpose of your life Hold near to God's way, dear without envy or strife If you do, what I'm saying, you will come to find God's way is the only way to be living in our time This world is badly changing in it's uncertainty But, God's made a promise to you and to me Hold on to faith, until the day that we die We'll be together forever, you and I Written By: Thomas F.
