* Just Passing Through *...

This is a story about somebody
who was, just passing through.
A person, on a long journey.
When it ends, he hadn't a clue.

Many times, people'd stop him
and ask; stay,  join with the crowd.
But, he knew the many things they did...
should not have been allowed.

He shook his head, no thanks, he'd say.
"Heading home and I'm just passing through".
So they let him go... off, on his way.
Meanwhile they had "better things" to do.

The man kept striving, toward his set goal.
Others tried hindering him to see  their way.
He told what he'd known, from the depths of his soul
But very few listened to... what he had to say.

Well, the man's life ended, is this sad to say?
No, He awoke with a feeling, he'd never before known.
As he arrised but, not surprised, seeing the dawn of a new day,
he became elated, bursting with joy, as he was welcomed home.

He noticed people, as he gazed at the splendor,
having perplexed expressions, while waiting there.
And it struck him, he began to remember...
Meeting them on earth but he could't recall where.

Then a voice thundered and this what it uttered;

"Too Many Times, You've Been Warned Upon The Earth,"
"To Do Something To Show, What You Might Have Been Worth."
"You Thought The World Below, Was The Only Home For You."
"The Earth's Now Gone, This Is Not Your Home,"
"You Are Just Passing Through."
"It Saddens Me, To Tell You,"
"Nothing Else Anyone Can Do."

The Story Ends But, Hopefully Not For You!
