Is money the answer for folks to cure their pain
What some will do for relief again and again
From theft deceitfully done to anyone, even a friend
When will these desperate measures ever end
It's no doubt we're on life's merry-go-round
What it's about is not what some think they've found
Is it good to have a gain at someone else's cost
Where's the humanity, are our values at a lost
Must a man go to jail, before you hear a cry
People will wait all too late, I must ask why
I've seen in my life, these things are true
Take a look around and you'll notice it too
If you see someone trying hard to do what's right,
Render what is needed to help win their fight
Think of a time when you were in the same plight
Someone was there for you, that made it alright
There are good people in dier situations today
So do them some good, if you cross by their way
Practicing this could help make the world change
Next time you see a stranger, he may not seem strange
