Long as I can remember,
I had no one with, to confide.
I used to think a lot to myself
And allowed God to be my guide.
When Adam was created, 'twas said
"It's not good for man to be alone".
I Know Exactly... How He Felt.
Oh!...for a voice over the phone!
God knows...what I'm going through.
He gives me hope...to carry on.
'Though no one's here to talk to me,
He's been beside me...all along!
Sometimes while, in this solitude
I've noticed His presence was never missed
I can look at the empty walls around me,
But still, I realized that I've been blessed!
OH!.. to give and receive love!
I crave the good memories, to share!
Where OH where! are you, 'Special One'!
Can't I find somebody to show they care?
But that's OK because, I'll be fine.
Just waitin' On meetin', a new friend.
God will watch over and comfort me.
Until my lonliness comes to an end.
