We are Terry (KB5KBW) and Karen (KD5FUS) from the Great State of Louisiana. My hobbies are:
1. Amateur radio...really enjoy talking with other ham radio operators across the country and over the world. 2. Horses...just getting back into riding again this past 3 years. Love it, goes good with ham radio and camping. 3. Camping...in the 30 foot 5th wheel. We have been from Colorado to the Mid West and the South. The more we go the bigger this country gets. 4. Fishing...don't get to fish and hunt like we use to but that part is still in our mind from time to time. 5.Taking care of our Timberland. We manage our timber and the timber of other landowners. We especially enjoy our time in the woods and at the creek. This is a very rewarding and is great to be in the outdoors, enjoying the outdoors and sometimes getting paid for it. 6.There are always other things that come up we enjoy doing while doing the above...medal detecting, bike riding, r/c airplanes..
Had triple by-pass August 3, 2001. By-pass worked out really great....
Karen, pretty well enjoyed most of the above......but now with sadden heart, Karen passed away at 6:10 PM January 19, 2006 at our home. I will be setting up a special webpage in memory of Karen but she did enjoy being out in the garden in the spring and summer... Her flower beds and crossstitching
Melissa (KC5BPG), our daughter is married to Dusty (KD5ZKS), and son, Devin, lives in Natchez, Mississippi.
Travis (KB5NHT), married to Theresa. Has two sweet little girls and one fine young boy..
Trevor, our 14 year old son, is a Life Scout in Troop 431 in Woodworth, Louisiana. As the years go by we find we have many friends and family across the united states of American and this is one way of joining together here in the ham and computer world. May God Bless You and may God Bless the united states of America. |
