Rosa Marís llegó a Bogotá sabiendo que tenía que trabajar duro para sobrevivir. Decide alojarse en casa de sus primos, sin saber que Hugo, Pedro y Luis le harían la vida miserable. Ella trabaja mucho, y estudia en la universidad donde conoce a Rosa Emilia. Esta es la hija de un político  corrupto y adinerado. Ellas se hacen buenas amigas, y el día de la graduación conocen a un hombre que les cambiará la vida. Ricardo, un ambicioso y extrovertido hombre que por error se enamora de Rosa María pensando que es Rosa Emilia. Entonces será cuando comenzará La Guerra de las Rosas.

Rosa María came to Bogotá knowing that she had to work hard to survive. She stayed at her cousins’ house, never thinking that Hugo, Pedro and Luis would make her life miserable.  She works hard and studies in the university, where she meets Rosa Emilia, the daughter of a corrupt and wealthy politician. They become best friends, and on graduation day they meet the man that will change their lives. Ricardo, an ambitious and sociable fellow who mistakenly falls in love with Rosa María, thinking she is Rosa Emilia. This gives rise to The War of the Roses.
